LEGENDARY trainer Freddie Roach believes that Amir Khan could be damaged goods as he bids to rescue his career.
Khan meets the unbeaten Carlos Molina in the early hours of Sunday morning as he attempts to get back among the world greats following two successive defeats.
But Roach, who Khan sacked after those career-threatening reversals, is convinced that his former pupil could be in for a psychological backlash.
Roach, who has trained 24 world champions, became the fourth trainer to be dumped by Khan, in the wake of his latest fourth-round defeat by Danny Garcia.

They only fought Marquez for the 3rd time because they thought he was fat and slow at welter, boy did that backfire..... god knows why they fought him this time, I predicted that was a crazy move. A lot of people gave the 3rd fight to Marquez, including a lot of Filipinos. Maybe Pac listened to the fans.
You ain't never lied about that.

"I've been fighting at 150, 147 and then this guy 140-pounds, 135, is moving up. I've been fighting with bigger guys and then I fight a guy who is the same size, so I kind of understimated ." Manny Pacquiao.

Only reason Manny took the 4th fight was because it made the most money sense. Bradley was supposed to be the immediate rematch but it left a bad taste in everyone's mouth and also Manny no matter how humbe he comes off has a big ego and he just couldn't go on knowing JMM was still out there saying he won. Not to mention that Cotto turned down the catch weight fight AGAIN. Pacquiao had no where else to go because we all know the Floyd fight wasn't going to happen.
Good post.
Pac got dropped in round 3..... but because he put in 1.5 good rounds after that..... he would have obviously won the fight if not for the fact that he got KTFO ?
That is ridiculous.
Pac-fans..... stretching it like never before :nonono:
It's just ridiculous how much people are heart broken by Manny Pacquiao getting KO'd. He had it coming. Dude has always been wide open for counters but most of his opponents tried to out muscle him and he is just too fast for it. JMM did it right by making Pacquiao lead because that's when he is the most vulnerable. I'm sure he will be getting KO'd again because the blue print is out on him. Arum will make Manny a Top Rank gate keeper for his young rising stars. He tried to do it with Bradley but Tim stunk it up and wasn't convincing. I would have love to see Mayweather/Pacquiao but am glad Marquez got a chance to prove he is the better of the two with a spectacular KO victory.
Roach seems a little bitter even though he says he wishes Amir well...In all honesty Pac got knocked out alot worse then Khan ever has...neutrally speaking I think both Khan and Pac win their rematches if they get em' Both were winning up untill getting caught.
When has Pacquiao ever convincingly beat JMM? He may have been winning before he got KO'd but he got KO'd. Marquez knows Manny really well and can adjust which has been proven each time they met in the ring. JMM officially has Manny's number. 5th fight is too dangerous for Manny because this late in his career, Roach can't change squat. Couldn't 12 years ago and ain't now. I think Garcia beats Khan again. It reminds me of what Salido did to Juan Ma in the first fight. I knew he was going to get the KO again because that number has been called.
:lol1: :lol1:
How many minutes have you been following this sport ?
And how did your scorcards for both the fights look? Pac was outlanding like hell on Marquez...And Angel was telling Danny that he was "getting picked apart" in the round breaks...
Either ur a hater or just blind... Be honest, you wouldn't bet any Money on any of them in rematches
Khan either fights conservatively now or gets chin checked and KO'd again.
I don't think there is a fighter alive that has a good punch who is afraid of Khan.
Every Khan opponent knows that no matter how behind on the cards they are, they'll always have a chance.
Pac is a different story. Pac got caught with a perfect punch from a man who has studied Pac incessantly for the past 8 years. Hard to duplicate those kinds of results. It depends on how bad Pac himself becomes psychologically since I still believe he'll have a good beard based on how absolutely massive that shot was that KO'd him.

Speaking from experience in and out of the ring, both fighters will probably never retain the ability to respond to pressure without the sensation that aggression will be their doom.
Manny is too brave for his own good.
Like Arguello he would be beaten twice by a more ignited opponent.
Khans fate is sealed. He whiskers are now beyond in doubt. He has none.
He will be caught again either by Molina or Garcia.

hmmm... sounds like roach is done.
pac needs a new trainer
Of course.. blaming the coach is the easiest course of action.
But Roach can't change the fact that when Pacquiao goes aggressive, he doesnt think his movements, he's on instinct mode.
Hence why he got caught with two big punches against JMM.
So get your head out of the toilet.
Roach is a great coach.
