Thats actually not as crazy as it sounds. I think he should try to reverse against Garcia, if only for his own self esteem, but he needs a few fights first to gain some belief and Prescott would be a good fight for him provided he can get past Molina.
This is the worst idea for Khan at the moment..Prescott is still dangerous and there is no need to take a fight with him..If he is not fighting Garcia,he should be very carefully matched...
Obviously it is Khan that wants the Garcia fight and its probably eating on him every day. Maybe he just needs to get that fight out of the way so that he can go on with his career/life without thinking of this fight all the time. It has to be a distraction. I bet he could beat him right now.

Khan-Prescott II would be a decent fight, here, in the UK. Khan has been humbled by Garcia, so surely it'd be a viable tune-up before stepping up in class again. Like you say, it'd erase some of the demons, too.
What ever you say about amir goes for manny. Why does manny deserve a immediate rematch? He got knocked the f*ck out, for real. Just goes to show the double standards by you "fans" who base a boxers talent by their outside the ring likability.
Both camps have spoken of a rematch, that's all.
Perhaps he'd consider fighting Prescott as one of his tune-up fights?

Ah, OK.
What next for Garcia, then? A step up to 147?
well I'm sure there is PLENTY more for swifty to do at 140, but yea Im sure he will be at 147 in the future, he's a big boy...
theres this thing called a rematch clause, if you beat the champ, he gets a rematch when he chooses, so theres your answer to that one.
as far as judah, I dono why swifty is fighting him, but I dont like it

Just curious, why is there so much hype surrounding Garcia? Yes, he knocked Khan out; but he then went on to rematch Morales (for some reason), and is now defending his titles against Zab Judah. The same Zab Judah who quit against Khan back in 2011.
Hardly progression...

why? so he can get murked again?
swifty is one of those fighters thats gonna keep winning, and the more wins the more people will say "he isn't special, all you need to do with garcia is this that and the other and you will win..."
lets see what some other guys who actually have world class skills can do to swifty, before talking about a (lol) khan rematch :boxing:
If he beats Molina on Saturday night?
It'd be dangerous - another loss would almost certainly rule out a big domestic fight with Kell Brook at 147.
kell brook is not a big fight for khan he is scared of alexander he has just pulled out of the alexander fight because he said he is injured, eddie hearn said he wants to postpone the fight for 4 weeks meaning alexander will probably fight some1 else and brook will fight another bum and say he will ko alexander he is a joke.
Nah let it marinate "Bob Arum" style, The positive thing for Khan is he is still a name and because of that he brings a bigger pay for his opponents (apart from Floyd,Pac or Cotto).. So he can fight Garcia anytime he wants, so wait and see how he develops under hunter and then see what marinated the fight would be then (Arum style).
Why not??? Marquez wont fight him and Peterson is still in limbo..... If he wants another title at 40 he has to go through Garcia and or Lucas..... Depending on how GB plays it
Yes. I don't even like Khan but how is this even debatable? He has to clear his resume of him earlier rather than later.
Khan can't just make the call to Garcia and make him take this rematch, he'd have to earn it. He's willing to face anyone so it won't be hard for him to get fights but I think Garcia is on his own path for the time being.
Garcia beats Khan with or without Hunter in his corner. Ward has exceptional ring IQ and and can think on his feet and read oponents. Khan is thick with special needs dunce ring IQ. He can't think on his feet. The best he can do is follow Hunter's in between orders and that won't be good enough to keep Garcia at bay who will find a way to land something big when that happens it will be excuse time for Khan al over again.
I don't agree. Khan needs a disciplinarian in his corner. I think, after 2/3 fights, Khan, boxing to a rigid game plan, wins by wide UD or late KO.
