Amazing that he has been p4p top 10 since 1998,he has seen them come and go yet he remains undefeated and on top once again p4p #1 at the age of 35 soon to be 36,He is 43-0 a 8 time champ(should be 9 just didnt pay for shanes belt)in 5 divisions no other fighter in the history of this sport has won 8 titles in 5 divisions and remained undefeated, over half of his fights have been title fights.Manny had a stint on top and all the hype, yet Floyd just kept defeating current champions coming off of big wins,no smoke and mirror act,no catch weight titles. Now it appears he will fight 2 more current champions in 2013 at the age of 36 and if he defeats them both he can retire 45-0 with possible 9(should be 10)world titles and maybe even possibly add 1 more lineal title to his resume, this guy is hated so much on here because of his perfection, this guy is a boxing god
I don't have a problem admitting that Manny has a better resume than Floyd and will probably rank ahead of Floyd in the ATG list, but some fans on here are going a bit overboard with their attempt to make Manny's resume to look better than it really is.
Andre ward is a more complete fighter than Floyd Mayweather. Floyd is the better defensive fighter though.
20 years from now people will stay say the Haglers, Durans, SRL's etc are better than Floyd. Ward is a young kid and he's already on his way to moving up to LHW, where he's already defeated the kingpin of that division. Can Floyd honestly say he's fought the best, at their best, and made everyone look bad without controversy? No. He has 2-3 fights already that go under scrutiny. Ward is a special talent, and I used to really try to find holes. All you can say is that he fights in his backyard.
Ward will be 29 next month hardly a young kid.

How is Ward a more complete fighter than Floyd? What can Ward do in the ring that Floyd can't do? I don't have anything against Ward, and he's P4P#1 on my list, but Ward patterned his style after Hopkins and Floyd. He learned from those guys, not the other way around. Ward is a complete fighter, but so is Floyd.
ok, now that you have criticized me can you answer the question I asked?
Its funny that you single out Baldomir. why not Castillo or Genaro or Shane?
Castillo beat Floyd good on there first fight. Castillo is Pac's sparring Partner in Pac's previous fights. Castillo mentioned, " Pac is fast and is the beast he is in another level, hard to keep up with him"
could sworn. Andre ward is number one p4p.
so neither is Manny or Floyd on top anymore, but if you want to nick pick like some females then yes, floyd is higher on the imaginary list.
ESPN, RING, Yahoo sport, Sports Illustrated, BBC Sports, Sky Sports all have Floyd Mayweather at #1
I don't know of any respectable sports network, magazine who have Ward at #1
Well facts are facts..pics don't lie lol
Not bad not bad lol
Oppssssssss common juan get up b1atch serve money may your masterlol

That's a very flabby picture of Marquez, no wonder he lost to Floyd. Now a days he is ripped and muscular he even looks stronger than Floyd at present than in that pic, hence Pac's loss.
ehhh, thats very debatable especially after this saturday......i have floyd around top 20-30 and pac at top 30-40
You rank him that high, all time and yet you call him an overrated hype job. You and Larry must both be schizophrenic....or stupid..probably both.:lol1:
Having Floyd that high is absolutely hilarious as well btw.
no he bloody didnt. he hasnt even fought the best in his own division since he came back from his convenient retirement.
maybe berto can get a crack at floyd, if he beats a decent fighter for a fringe belt...floyd can sell it...lol
1. that's false
2. ko's don't mean ****.....pernell whitaker only has 17 ko's and about the same amount of fights as floyd but his resume still ****s on pacquiao's.
true that knock outs don't mean you have a great resume.. but putting all that aside, Manny still has the better resume than Floyd.. and he has losses. that says a lot.
floyd will never be as revered manny.
never.
pac always gives us exciting fights and fights the best opposition while floyd barely fights, gets accused of ducking, and rarely gives us great fights.
Pac has been doing it his entire career.
What you saying is debatable from a lot of standpoints. Who is more revered doesn't mean that the more revered fighter was the better fighter. I mean for example before the steriods Mark McGuwire was more revered by the fans and media than Ken Griffey jr and Barry Bonds. So does that mean he was actually better than Ken Griffey jr or Barry Bonds?
Because of a bunch of BS from everybody involved with putting that fight together we will never know who was the better man.

No matter how hard you and other manny fans try to change things, what you do in the ring is what you are remembered for.
Manny will always be thought of as an ATG, but Manny's getting KTFO will be his "No Mas" moment, just like Tyson with his eye swollen shut and mouthpiece hanging out, just like Hatton getting flattened, just like ODH running from Tito, just like down goes Frazier. Nothing manny has done in his career is more memorable.
You can edit wikepedia and make thread after thread, but you will never be able to alter that reality.
