Very talented, has the amatuer pedigree, shows maturation each time out! He has an experienced young trainer who is growing in knowledge all the time so this will keep Adrian interested in gym time.
This kid already understands that he needs to develop more power by sitting down on his punches and he's begun to do that.
To me he's the talent that I see right now and we'll see how it goes as he steps up in competition, so far very good!
He has alot of bravado put I think theres a good kid under all the "characterization" hahahaha!!! This kid smiles alot and tries to have fun with writers and has lightened up on the bravado some!!! When he gets close to a fight the BS starts but that might change as he matures, I hope!
He's 23 yrs old, and a major star in a very tuff competitive sport. He's put years in already and did very well in the amatuer divisions. I like him, I'll know how much once he gets sustained pressure. Boxing needs a flashy kid who fights using fundimentals and comes to fight not run. Hopefully he can hold 147 for his entire career and that his height remains the norm in the division as its been for some time now! Right now at 23yrs not much more you can ask for! Ray.
Care to give some reasons for your vote???
Not gonna lie... I just voted for him cause Im a fan. It didnt really cross my mind that I was voting to say he should be top 5 P4P.
I also didnt realize The Ring actually put him top 5...
Im the victim here. BS has taught me to just vote without really thinking, to offset the legions of haters that would vote against just because its not Manny or Floyd.
Oops. **** it though. I voted, its there to see. I like the kid, thats all I can say. Theres really no way to justify saying he should be top 5. It is The Ring though, their ratings have been kinda whack for awhile now.
Skill set? Yes...has he proved himself to be there? Not at all. I'm not sure how the ring does their rankings, but he hasn't earned a #5 spot and I like broner.
As Guererro's in the Top 10 now I'm almost certain he'll be fighting Mayweather next.
Then once Canelo wins his next fight, and I'm guessing it'll be a big one, and Guererro most likely loses, he'll be added into the Top 10.
That's my prediction.
I'm thinking the same thing..... Hopefully we're both wrong about the Canelo prediction if nothing else
If Canelo fights and beats Cotto next I have a feeling we will be seeing a new face in the rankings.....
This is definitely a new low for The Ring and that would further reduce the credibility of historically one of the best media sources for boxing.
And I'm probably one of Broner's biggest fans on here.
Broner's above Donaire in the list.
Mares and Froch not even in the list.
Absolute joke if I ever saw one.
You would expect that type of list from a fan..... Not from the "prestigious Ring ratings advisory panel" :lol1:

They knocked out Mares and dropped Nonito. That's crazy.

Mayweather
Juan Manuel Marquez
Martínez
Ward
5 could be for some other guys like Froch, Donaire, Wladimir, Abner Mares, etc ... All these guys deserve a #5 spot a lot more than Broner.
And about Ring well that list is absolute crap, I don't know how beating DeMarco is better than beating all the guys Abner has been beating (Moreno, Agbeko x2, Vic) or Froch (Bute, Johnson, Abraham, Dirrell, Taylor)
Even Wlad has a better opponent in Haye than Broner in DeMarco.
