Margarito was a has been when Pacquiao faced him but Rios is a never will be. At best he might become a decent champ but not much else. But that's all speculation. Given their respective statures today, it's a pretty crappy fight and when people talk about how exciting it would be, I can only assume that they mean they want to see Pacquiao completely dominate someone and cap it off with a stoppage that occurs within five rounds. If you're a Pacquiao fan you bust a nut at the thought of that. If you want to see something more competitve, the thought of this matchup disgusts you.

You know who these two fighters struggle against? Boxers with movement and angles. You know who they excel against? Fighters who will engage. This fight will be a barnburner. nobody is saying pac vs rios is a great legacy defining fight for pac (maybe for rios) but to say it wont be fun is just straight stupid. i wonder if some of these clowns acting all high and mighty would have a problem with past all time greats fighting boxers with 15-20 losses on a regular basis like they did during the "golden" age of boxing. fake ass dumb a**holes.

Marg was shot to pieces when Pac fought him, I never once legitimised that fight or even enjoyed it. It had boring written all over it, and that's how it played out. Rios is young, hungry and will land back on Pac. Size isn't an issue cos Rios boils down big-time and Manny doesn't go past 150 when in the ring. If you can't see the difference between a Rios fight and a Margarito fight, then that's on you. The version of Marg that Pac fought > any version of Rios. Try and deny it. Yes size won't be an issue, that's the problem. If a bigger and better brawler like Marg couldn't do much against Pac, what would happen to Rios who doesn't even have the size advantage? No that's not on me, it's on you to explain how a smaller and lesser skilled brawler would do better.
