Those places have 3rd world educations.
Cuba aka The Caribbean are part of North America.
Let's end this right here:
1 Canada
2 USA
3 Mexico
4 Guatemala
5 Belize
6 El Salvador
7 Honduras
8 Nicaragua
9 Costa Rica
10 Panama
11 Bahamas
12 Cuba
13 Jamaica
14 Haiti
15 Dominican Republic
16 Dominica
17 Barbados
18 Grenada
19 Trinidad and Tobago
20 St Kitts and Nevis
21 St Lucia
22 St Vincent and the Grenadines
23 Antigua and Barbuda
That is ALL of North America. This is elementary level education in the US.
No man, here in México we don't consider the Caribbean or Central America as part of North America.
it is referred to as central america in my part of the world as well but it is common knowledge that there is 7 continents and central america is not one of those seven.
also if you happen to live in north american you should know that the nations in central america are part of north america
im sure everybody that went to elementary school in the states was taught about the 7 continents no big deal if you forgot
North America stips after Mexico. Central America is included with South America, making the "Central and South American Continent".
As for the large variety of islands off the various coasts, although continents are usually landmasses, (such as "Continental America"or Continental Africa) it varies. The number of continents has changed twice already in my lifetime, from 5 to 6 to 7, and although usually considered today as 7, there is no hard, fast laid-down rule as to the finite number of continents.
It seems likely that islands would be included in one or the other, according to latitude and longitude.
Is panama South America? Or is Central America it's own continent? There's only 7 continents.
When I was a kid there were five continents, American Continent, Asia, Europe, Africa and Australasia. I believe that Antartica was later regarded as a Continent.
I believe that the Sth. American Continent is usually referred to as "Central and South American Continent" thus making seven continents.
I always thought of North America as Canada, Mexico & USA but I can see the whole Caribbean & Central America argument.
Many fighters deserve a mention. I'm going with Jimmy Wilde but being born in the UK I might be a tad biased. Monzon & Jofre definitely deserve a mention.

Great List!
Carlos Monzon did not fight primarily in the United States, neither did the legendary legend-killer Joe Calzaghe, he just went there to end legends.
which legend did he end in the US? bcuz hopkins is still going strong and roy was already done with. only legend you can make an argument he ended was eubank on british soil. joe himself is no legend either.

hyperbole
and calzaghe was not a great, and even he had to head to the states to do something that mattered.

duran vs pacquiao would've been one hell of a fight to see!
I predict major brain damage after that one.
Yeah... Someone is ending up with Parkinsons in that fight.
Pacquiao edges Duran if you are to take his resume at face value and not assume he's on something.
Meaning to say that Floyd fans would have a different list than the rest of the boxing world.
