Manny's obvious strategy is to come in with size advantage because Manny doesn't have the boxing IQ to box Marquez. Manny will be hoping into coming in over size plus that Marquez would show up old to have a shot, otherwise Manny gets schooled again. Maybe Manny can push the fight at 150 if 147 isn't enough weight advantage to finally beat Marquez. I'm hoping for something epic and unexpected, I think these two still have it in them. Arum was hoping for dopes like me who still believe that and will forego the mountain of evidence we have to the contrary. I guess we should assume this one will be similar? I definitely agree something different has to happen and from my perspective in following JMM for a while, it has to come from him. It's not enough for me for JMM to "win" razor close, he's better than that. These fights, outside of the 1st first, have ended up being about JMM inability to step up big in the final rounds. Ppl might see it differently but it's been a theme of Marquez's career, I want to see that finally change in this fight. It's completely under his control. He's lost some of his biggest fights going back to Norwood and it's hurt him to not capitalize when things are well within his grasp. I don't want to hear Nacho telling him the score of the fight or anything like that. He's always been this good, so it's nothing for me to see him be able to handle Manny like he does, but even though it seems like he has him figured out... he still handcuffs himself and blows the big moments in the same way he did when he get his first shot on hbo. Maybe the fight never gets to this point; but, if it follows the same pattern again and it's close down the stretch, I want to see him turn it up big time, believe in his craft, come forward and really try to hurt Manny - that is "something different" that has to happen for him to win. Get it in the minds of the judges that he truly has that puzzle solved.

many people starting with khan and the rest of the 140& up top dogs ...rios, mathysee, broner(i know he's a 35lber), bradley....them guys that if pacquaio fights , he gets crucifeied for are all good names for marquez ..marquez pretty much has only controversial losses over pacquaio , nothing else special worth bragging despite his atg skills.... That's what I fear most, I hope he gets 3-4 more solid wins on his resume, he cleans up the Jr WW division if he chooses to IMO.

I see Pac being aggressive/relentless, if Pac can get him on the ropes he can do some damage to the body like the young Pac use to do. JMM will do his counter punching but will need to follow up after a counter punch and I think they did mention they will go to Pacs body which I think is definitely Pacs weakspot, actually most fighters don't go to the body enough. All in all, I'm hoping it's similar to 1&2 but with a definitive ending.

They've already hinted at Pacquiao's approach, he's gonna be far more aggressive. As far Marquez don't expect anything different.

Pacquiao coming in at 147 tells me he's going to go str8 at Marquez...to try and overwhelm him He tried that in the first round of the last fight. Those hard Marquez counters cured that really quick. As for the topic, if anyone brings anything different it will happen right off the bat. If both are standing after 3 rounds (and no knock downs) it will fall into the same pattern as the other fights.

watching the 24 7 it is safe to say that JMM wants to KO Pac he is trying to increase power obviously.
