I'm guessing 800-1.0 million. Normally I would think around 1.2-1.5 million but I am personally not as hyped as I normally am for a "Pac fight" or a "JMM fight" in general. I mean, I'm going to watch it and probably pay for it just because I think the under cards might be pretty decent and the main event will produce fireworks as usual.
I think it is just like a rerun of the same fight I have already seen 3 times now with slight variations in each successive replay. I hope this is the end of a great saga but I think that something could be set up for Pac to lose and for there to be a 5th match next year.
1.2 is a good estimate, although it doesn't need to reach that high to be a successful event, anything over 1.2 would be outstanding and is certainly possible.
Don't matter because Arum never officially release the numbers for Pacquiao PPV's anyway...He just releases the number he wants so he is going to say this fight did over 1 Million even if it doesn't!
I think it will do better than the last 3. this is the most significant and will be the most exciting. Boxing fans will for sure tune in, I don't know about the casual but I think they are doing an excellent job of marketing. The time square thing was genius.
why the hell would that even be accepted if pretty much most major media outlets are saying it reached at least 900k.

Dan Rafael @danrafaelespn
@JavyJav1 He is not making an official announcement but my sources tell me it's about 950,000.
Kevin Iole @KevinI
@tagamalangkaw Not released yet. I am hearing approx 950k but they haven't officially released it.
Because none of that is official either. So it's really no different. Wouldn't be the first time a member of the media was wrong.
I guess that's why we don't know what the numbers actually are. And I believe the 700K originated from a Manila newspaper--yeah, I guess that's the same thing as a fat virgin spreading rumours from his parents basement (wtf?).

Numbers should be taken from the highest form of authority not some fat virgin spreading rumours from his parents' basement.

Because there was a rumor from some "source" saying that's what the number was. No one really knows. Only thing we do know is that they didn't want to release the official number--and that can't be good.

then where did the 700k number come from and why do people keep repeating it?

Three of the more respected boxing journalists saying their sources say it did 950k is better than some guy on an internet forum saying it did 700k without any proof.
In other words, official numbers were never released.
I assumed that? Where? Who's assuming?
And FYI...since all those three have no source other than Arum regarding #'s, it's no different than shaking a magic eight ball.

I wouldn't care except people keep repeating this same exact number as if it's been confirmed when really it seems like they pulled it from their ass.
No official numbers were released so you assume it did 700k? What's your source? Is it better than Dan Rafael, Steve Kim and Iole?
