I just remembered that Pacquiao tired against Bradley, but Bradley landed a lot of shots to the body. Can Marquez do the same?
he has always been an effective body puncher, it's just that against pacquiao's lightning left straight it's really dangerous to reach downwards like that. i'm pretty sure i read an interview from marquez's camp stating that putting more pressure on pacquiao's midsection is something they have in mind, though.
Brighter Candle burns faster, hes putting a bigger effort and more strain on hes body at hes age but then again Manny didn't capitalize on that either.

Roach throws in the towel :boxing:
He didn't even throw the towel in for Chavez Jr. and he was a literal punching bag for 11 rounds.
Either way, both men will be accused of using steroids no matter the result.
Maybe but in the last fight it was Marquez tiring in the championship rounds. And that to me is a red flag. He's never had that issue before so I have to think it's the added weight coupled with age. I don't know, yeah maybe he can pull of a late round TKO but that would mean he would be adjusted to the new physique now and also have one last great performance left in him. I don't think that's as likely at his age but I do believe Pacquiao may have one last great performance in him and it wouldn't shock me if it was this fight. Nothing would shock me, really.

Manny is basically unstoppable if you look at hes record and also the fights they had the dude can take a punch or a thousand. I see only a decision in Marquez future if he wins but Marquez looks beastly and Pacquiao is training with the intensity of a spoon so we never know.
Knock out? no but I won't be surprised if juan manuel gets a clear decision this time. Would be glad to be proven wrong by pac. I'm not watching this one with friends like I used to, I'm watching this at home with my family.
Nobody can be sure man, just stop already haven't you seen how strong and fast and powerful Marquez looked and how bored and slow Manny has looked on the mitts?
It's common sense, the guy who has more hunger will win and that is Marquez, Pacman didn't even care when he lost to Bradley he is just in it for a check and that is all.
Pacman is done, hasn't been the same fighter since 2009.
But you were sure Marquez was going to Ko Pac :lol1:. Why do you think I called you a retard...you already know the result so why not put your whole life saving on it :lol1:.
No way in hell
Clottey, Cotto, Margarito, Mosley all hit way harder than Marquez
Marquez's chest may have gotten bigger but his chin been cracked
I see Marquez getting caught early and then going into survival mode for the rest of the fight
It's the first time I'm betting against Manny in so many years I can't remember and I was saying to a friend I wouldn't be shocked if JMM wins by KO this time just by looking at the size of him he means business and isn't coming to play
Last time I bet against Manny was Cotto. Oh boy, did I lose my ass on that one. (Not hooking on the streets, lose my house, mind you.)
Probably go 12. Somebody will get "robbed'.
Just want a definitive ending to this rivalry, ya know?
LOL so now you think...I thought earlier you were sure Marquez was going to KO Pac 100% :lol1:.

I already made a thread on this, but I think Marquez stops Manny in the mid rounds. Pacquiao will get knocked out cold by a left hook. Say farewell to Manny, he had a great run I hope people show him the proper respect.
