BoxingScenes tribute to deceased boxers..

Re-bump this here thread. @Larry. I suggest, if there is not enough space to include all the boxers, trainers, and individuals who have contributed greatly to this sport of ours. Then a switch should be made every week, or two weeks to encompass all who have passed and fallen so that everyone can be honored. How bout that mah homie. I agree with you everyone who fits the bill should be honored.

No, only because other great who have died this year did not get honored like that,i vote we dedicate a section for deceased fighters where we post videos of their fights and lives and give them the respect they deserve

Somebody suggested this in the comments section and I believe it was overlooked. Perhaps this time it will be done. Great idea to have a tribute to the fallen heroes of our sport.

This year we have lost several boxers trainers and writers, Hector "Macho" Camacho, Johnny Tapia, Corrie Sanders, Emmanuel Steward, Bert Sugar, Teofilo Stevenson, Jimmy Bivins and others. Do you guys think this site should pay tribute to them by replacing the pictures on top of the Boxing Scene page with these deceased boxing greats? This could be done for the month of December, come January, things can go back to to the current picture lineup, come to think of it, a change is long overdue. What do you guys think?, come on Boxing Scene make it happen, please vote and state your opinion.. Good idea brother. Hope the admin will give this idea a consideration.

Great idea. I was going tru some old pics of when I use to box & i found a picture of me & camacho when he trained in la for a fight he had in Cali. Took me back.

This is the best idea I have ever seen on this site A-I mah homie. I vote yes. And think it should be done every December from this point on. Even Paul Williams could be up there, he should be honored also..
