after the 3rd fight with marquez, pacquiao made a transformation and stopped all his late night partying, gambling and of course, women and embraced biblical reality. just minutes before the fight, an incident was reported within pacquiao's suite at the mgm. a verbal altercation was heard between pacquiao, his wife jinkee and conditioning coach, ariza to the point where a mobile phone was thrown apparently at someone and was smashed into pieces. pacquiao entered the ring with uneasy tension and was never the same. we all know how that turned out.
ariza wants glory for himself. “even if God Himself comes down and help marquez, he still cannot beat manny.” the fool said. ariza is the root cause of everything that went wrong for pacquiao in the trilogy. ariza is just full of himself. he should wake up to the fact that nobody is indispensable in pacquiao’s team, and he’s not an exception. ariza did not make Pacquiao. pacquiao made ariza.
ariza might have forgotten he is on planet earth. overwork or excessive training can work against an athlete in actual competition. there ought to be balance in everything, training included.

You know, before Pacquiao got Ariza and went up in weights, he was a 126lbs fighter throwing a heck of a lot more than the average featherweight including the final rounds according to the Larry Merchant. I don't think whatever Ariza began to do with Pacquiao made much of a difference than what he could of done with whomever he was working with prior to that. We all talk Ariza shakes, but whose shakes was Pacquiao on at 122lbs-130lbs?
How is this even a thread? It's Pac's fault he got out boxed by Marquez. If anything Ariza was to blame for the Bradley fight. Having Pacquiao come in at 150 and not having any muscle mass or definition like that? Wtf.
just a clash of styles brother. everyone was on their best condition that night. pacquiao needs a better game plan and not get outpatient if he's getting outbox.. marquez just knows how to fight a southpaw and already mastered how much patience pacquiao really has. pacquiao doesnt need to apply the in and out. marquez doesnt get taken into short feints. he needs relentless pressure. no going out. inside fighting and uppercuts.
If you've seen the fight replay in Super-Duper-Slow Motion, then you can clearly see that Ariza grabbed Manny's legs while the ref turned his back and Marquez took advantage of the situation and landed all those clean punches that he landed.
Finally, someone who speaks the truth!!

The Curse of Ariza
That was a CURSE to manny, if I were manny I will fire Ariza in my team.
Pray to God our Father in heaven thru our Lord Jesus Christ Manny Pacquiao that you will win this fight with Marquez. In Jesus Christ name Amen...

So you are admitting Pac lost to JMM in the third fight
Lol Ariza is annoying but he's not to blame, he gets pacquiao in shape if anything. A lot went into what happened that night, after beating all these bigger guys pacquiao overlooked another little guy who had him all figured out. He tried to play chess with a master instead of bumrushing him like in the first fight. Pacquiao is most successful when he throws flurries fast and hard and overwhelms his opponents. We'll find out in a few weeks if his excuses were legitimate or not. But I'd bet on another close, great fight.
A true champion for me is someone can overcome any obstacle that come his way during fights be it socks, head butts, gloves, injuries, tension with trainer, tension with wife etc etc etc.
his game plan for marquez should be simple back to basics, fight the guy don't tryo to out box the guy. He tried to turn it into a chess match and outbox him in the 3rd fight instead of getting in there hard and turning it into a slugfest, even new hulk marquez wont beat pac in a slugfest but he will in a chess match.
While I agree ariza is full of his own self importance, pacquiao lost because his attacks were too predictable
I'm hoping to see a different gameplan in a couple of weeks cos they can't keep doing the same thing over and over if its not getting the desired results
Was Ariza at fault for the first 2 or Bradley fight? Stop the bs excuses.
bradley could have won the crown without controversy if he competed in the Mr. Universe pageant. the first two were close but ariza had nothing to do with it.
