Was the Ricky Hatton fight the easiest fight that Manny Pacquiao was involved with for exactly 10 years?
If we go from November 2002 through to November 2012, it seems clear that Hatton was Pacquiao's easiest victory within that 10 year time span.
In that exact duration, Hatton was the only opponent that Pacquiao knocked out in 2 rounds or less.
Yeah and you came in your pants
Seriously what's your problem with Hatton, why are you obsessed with posting about a bad night he had four years ago, Hatton is a decent bloke a good fighter, overrated by some but a good fighter
You are just pathetic
You seem to be real oversensitive.
I'm stating facts that's all. Ive seen posts from you belittling boxers for no good reason, but when someone states facts about your favorite you all of a sudden turn into a diva about it.
He just has depression, it's a disease and that's why he says that it's going to be with him for the rest of his life. That's the way depression works, once you get depressed then it's very easy to fall back again.
Yeah it's just a disease, that's it really. It's a tough one for people to live with and you get the impression, from everything he's said, that this is his way of coping with it.
If you're inclined to get locked up in your own head like people with depression do, then you badly need a strong sense of purpose to help you deal with it. For Ricky, he's just been hanging around with that disease for the last three years and it nearly killed him.
He was faded by that point, all that bouncing up and down in weight, the drinking and bad lifestyle seemed to catch up with him in that fight. But at the same time, Pacquiao did train to counter him very well. I don't think Hatton would have lasted much longer even if he was 100%, maybe a few more rounds, I'd see a 6 round KO or thereabouts.
it wouldn't have mattered if ricky was still undefeated without any problems outside of the ring...pac is just a bad style for ricky..you just don't try to brawl with a guy like pacquiao.
just b.c it ended early dont make it easy
it was a 50 50 fight goin in with a shoking ending
lineal 140lbs champ isnt easy anyway you look at it
it was a good shot
It was more than just the ending alone. Pacquiao dominated Hatton from the first round with those 2 early knockdowns, then finished the job just a few minutes later.
Hatton was awful.
But I also believe him when he said he was weak. He fought like a man who knew he would be knocked out and just went: '**** it.'
I could have done what Hatton did that night. It was a horrible effort. And Hatton is man who prides himself on an iron will - something was definitely up!

I believe hatton when he says he felt weak. But over training shouldnt make you not use your boxing brain with hands low and bad habits like that.
Makes me think that we didnt see the best of hatton that night as he was weak. But if he was strong he would have taken more punishment and be KO'ed mid rounds.
Ricky Hatton telegraphs his left hook. Which made easy for Pac to beat him. Pac out classed Hatton by a mile in this fight. Turned his lights off in Vegas with that straight left cross. Pac took the air out of the brits in the arena with that shot.
Should have been competitive but hatton's effort is arguably one of the worst I've seen at the level
Chasing Pacquiao with your hands low and moving forward in straight lines was just like novice ****
Fair play to manny but Hatton just gave him that ko

And alcohol is a known depressant, Ricky's heavy drinking probably played a part in depression settling in because of the chemical effects of alcohol.
Pac is always fighting tought son of a guns, and Hatton was supposed to be one of those as well. But didnt prove to be on the night. Yes it was Pacs easiest fight.
Lots of guys suffer big defeats in sport and don't become depressed though. I think the problems probably run a bit deeper for Hatton. He was saying in an interview last night that he thinks depression is something that's going to be with him for the rest of his life.

Easy because Pac was on those PEDS
Hatton had been in some wars, but his career ended on a low because of a drug cheat
To me it's innocent until proven guilty, I can't just assume someone is on PEDS, regardless of their performance.
diaz and solis should have been easier fights on paper but hatton ended up being a very easy fight for pacqauio by walking in a straight line directly to pacquaio with his head straight up, not tucking his chin and using zero head movement. Pac couldnt miss with his angles.
Disagree about clottey being an easier fight, he busted up pac when he actually tried and made pac throw 1000 punches, working all night. Hatton offered pac the KO on a silver platter.
Hatton's foot speed slipped, atleast in his prime when he came forward, it was faster and troubled his opponents.
I think its Dela Hoya, even it take more rounds than Hatton to finish him. Its just that Hoya have better chin than Hatton. Pac looks like a HIGHLY skilled boxer on Hoya's fight.

for manny to actually say it was easy at the post fight interview, it was all that training
some of the best moments are when elite fighters start off the fight
