Before we start bashing Broner for his attempt to fight exactly like Mayweather lets thank and be happy that he isn't Floyd. The fact that he doesn't posses the same ability to move, and dodge shots means he has to fight. He uses the Philly Shell and shoulder roll pretty well, but unlike Floyd he can't do the little things that come from being born with exceptional reflexes that made floyd virtually untouchable. He does hesitate when being hit, as shown in the Ponce Deleon fight and his speed does help him compensate for his good but not great timing. He'll be strong at 135 and 140, so I think he will continue to stand in front or walk down weaker opponents. 147 will be another thing. It remains to be seen what level of competition he will face as soon as he starts producing big money. We all know that when you start producing big money promoters are more careful when it come to choosing opponents. He's got talent, but I'm glad he wont be able to rely on pure defense and potshots to cruise to decisions if he faces above average competition.
