WBC's Jose Sulaiman "Mayweather To Be Stripped of Title Belt"

I think he should have been stripped cause they strip other fighters damn near immediately.... This....... yeah right, for not fighting Robert Guerrero? Sulaiman won't strip him unless a Canelo fight is confirmed at JMW he won't lose his chance to keep his hand in Floyd's pocket This too..... like he cares... floyd's in a position where can fight for any belt at any time he wishes and he doesnt care much for mandatories these days and this..... However it's not like he lost the belt and then ducked a rematch... At the end of the day he has a JMW belt. Besides nobody at or below 154 beats him. He needs to move up to MW. That is where we see Floyd lose or look REALLY bad especially at his age and inactivity!

Last I heard Alvarez had the WBC belt and Mayweather had the WBA. Unless Suliman and the WBC stips WBA champions now.\ dude alvares is 154 they ar talking bout the 147 belt that may has ....

If Mayweather does not agree to fight the Guerrero-Berto winner within a reasonable amount of time then he should lose the WBC 147 pound tittle and the Guerrero winner should become the full champion.

Floyd should be banned from the sport he hates if he cant defend his belts. He wants to known as the man who regained the most belts as he knows he dont fight often enough to defend his titles to get to where BH was with 20 middleweight defenses......Floyd knows that aint happening. So Floyds going down another easier route. Hes cheating his fans, dishonest and no ambition in the sport he claims he loves.

the WBC welterweight champion mayweather may be stripped of his title in just over two weeks if he doesn’t attend the upcoming WBC Convention and explain (more like buy off) his position to president jose sulaiman. this is welcome news considering mayweather has not defended the belt in a record breaking 14 months, not to mentioned he had to sucker punch his way to earn the belt (how come the WBC never ordered a rematch?). in any case, once mayweather get's stripped, the belt will mostly be handed to berto after he demolishes the WBC interim champion, guerrero. berto is a solid welterweight and can stir up the somewhat stale division. i can even see berto beating the so called paper champions today, alexander (IBF), bradley (WBO) and malignaggi (WBA). your thoughts? You do realize that by saying they're "so called paper champions" you're implying that you don't believe they're paper champions, right? What a miserable post.

Floyd is law unto himself he wont mind. Just gives him a chance to regain the belts as if hes special. Like ali being a 3 time heavyweight champ. Just cant behave himself Floyd. What problem has he got with fighting like everybody else? Does he hate boxing that much.?

No way they voluntarily strip Mayweather unless he makes it known he won't defend that belt. Mayweather has worn a green belt in 5 divisions and while it may not matter much to him Suliaman knows he can't can't get more money in sanctioning fees from anyone else provided floydmis willing to give him any sanctioning money

any chance you have a source? i've read it on some boxing forum, i tried to search about it on the WBC website and i saw their convention happens every year round about november.
