Who Wins: Adrien Broner vs. Yuri Gamboa at 135 Lbs.

there's a good possibility this fight gets made, 50 & dela hoya may just work together to look at the bigger picture which is revenue and lot's of it. the bout would be one of the most anticipated fights in recent years, both boxers are viewed as potential future pound-for-pound champs. broner has a tough test in demarcos and if he wins convincingly, golden boy should face him to gamboa next. both fighters have speed, power, solid defense and offense. both are also undefeated. if the two were to fight, i think the initial rounds will be exciting, both fighters exchanging a lot of flurries and pushing the pace. broner might have a tiny bit more power but gambao has an once more speed and footwork which could be the deciding factor. gamboa wins via UD. your thoughts?

This is the closest thing we could get to Roy Jones Jr vs Floyd Mayweather Jr. I can't wait until this fight happens but Gamboa might want to test the weight before fighting Broner. gamboa said his willing to go up to 147, that's a good business decision, it's where all the money fights are. i think 135 won't be a problem for gamboa.

Gamboa is one of my favs... Cant stand Broner. That said... its a bad style for Gamboa. But he's such a nice and humble guy.... lol Can't stand him either, that is until he steps in the ring. Much like Floyd or in a lot of cases, boxers in general.

Broner wins by KO...this is a fight I've done over and over in my head...I'm sure Broner knocks him out....I still like Yuri though, he'd beat Mikey imho...and I like Mikey as well, he'd beat Juanma imho :lol1:

I think Broner is too big for him. Yuri would be competitive but he is hitting the canvas in this match up on route to a points loss.

Be a great fight if they were the same size, but Broner is far too big for him. Adrian is WW sized and Yuri is FW sized.

I love both fighters, but I know Broner would KO Yuri. He gets careless after exchanges and Broner has the speed and pop to keep him down. Plus I doubt Yuri would be able to land anything significant on Broner because of his size and Broner's defense.

maybe but it's a stale division anyway. the smart move for broner is to go up to 140 where bigger fights await Good move for us fans, but not exactly a smart career move. He can beat weaker opposition for a couple of years at 135 and build his profile.

gamboa has like 72% ko wins but broner has something like 84% knock out ratio. gamboa makes up for it by having a gold medal olympic background. i also think broner hasn't fought anyone even close to salido's caliber Remember we are comparing a 23 year old to guy that's like 30 years old.

How can anyone pick Gamboa right now seeing as he has not fought in over a year and, before the hiatus, had a severe problem keeping his hands up? Is he better than Broner, I'd say yes. But with the inactivity its hard to know if he's the same Gamboa. when gamboa fought farenas, he showed glimpses of his old self. but his chin tends to crack under pressure, the question is, can broner consistency pound that chin without taking too much damage. having power is great but speed and quickness is even better
