Why the hell does Bob keep doing this? Golden Boy already has the Barclays Center in New Jersey on hold for the 19th, to have another triple header headlined by Garcia vs Judah..... SMH
Bob had **** to do with it. Jan 19th was Golovkin's date (given to him by HBO) and they had the MSG Theater reserved with the NY State Athletic Commission before Golden Boy had the Barclays for Judah/Garcia. The NYSAC won't allow two boxing fights on the same date, which is why GB is the one who's moving Garcia/Judah to another date. Bob now is just copromoting the event in a date Golovkin already had before Golden Boy.
GB is now replacing Garcia/Judah with Alexander-Brook. The question now is why is GB going on with another fight in the same date when they know another promoter already has it?
Anyway, I don't care. The more fights, the better.
Why woud they even consider having a fight between to mexicans in puerto rico?
Almsot as good a question why would they consider having a fight between two mexicans in New York?
Garcia is an all around good fighter, he really doesn't do one thing amazingly, but he's solid. We'll find out everything we need to know against Salido. I'm surprised no one brings up Garcia being over sized at 126, when he walks into the ring as a JWW/WW.
Having two good (good being relative) cards on the same night is alright, in the same city is really pushing it~ I guess it worked out in Vegas when they did that but I don't think that can be counted on even in a place like New York.
Same night as Brook-Alexander.
Should be ok for UK fans because Kell Brook-Devon Alexander will be on Sky Sports which leaves the other card available for Boxnation.
Not really the fight i'm looking forward to seeing, I might have to head to MSG that night.

What other fight is being held that night?
I'm pretty sure Garcia vs Judah happening that night.
Nope they moved that. GBP is doing Alexander-Brook on Jan. 19th now. I think these fools are doing all this sh*t on purpose.
Dont tell me GB and TR and going to start the year off booking events on the same night. Cards at the Barclays and MSG, come on.
Sadly, that's what it seems like. I read that Golden Boy moved Garcia/Judah to a date in February but Alexander/Brook will take its place at an unnamed venue on Jan. 19th.
