Pressure needs to be put on Bob Arum to make Donaire vs. Mares

I work at staples. As of monday before the fight, they had to cut staff for the event because only 2 k had been sold. I talked to a couple of supervisors and they said 5,200 at the gate with a lot of give aways

I believe this fight will happen. The only time TR and GBP don`t get along is when mayweather is involved. Like one mentioned maidana-karrass and Lara-Martirosyan is proof of that. lara/martirosyn was a purse bid that top rank won. golden boy had no involvement in the fight. karass was released by top rank.

I don't understand why people are so freaken angry about Juanma vs Gamboa not happening. It probably never was that great of a fight anyway. In hindsight Gamboa would probably have destroyed him. But at the time the fight was hot and Juanma still hadn't been exposed yet.

This fight won't happen. Arum is going to put Nonito in with Rigondeaux next and keep it in house, before he puts him in with Mares. Golden Boy and Top Rank are not on good terms. Abner Mares vs. Nonito Donaire would be HUGE! Mexican American vs. Filipino American, the two best guys in a unification, and Mares has a huge fan base. Its also a style match up that will please the fans. Mares actually is the draw in this fight, he brings more fans to stadiums, look how filled the STaples center was just for Mares, Nonito can't even fill up a small 7k seat stadium in Carson he only sold like 750 tickets. I bet you Nonito thinks he deserves the lions share even though Mares is the real draw here. GB gives a lot of tickets away..... Just saying
