Wladimir unloaded on him with clean power shots that shook his frame for the entire fight and he did not go down.
I've never seen someone survive such a beating. That was more brutal than Vitali vs Briggs and Wlad could have knocked out a bull with what he was hitting him with.
I'm convinced Wach's chin is made of metal, it is impressive on mere sight alone

Nope proves Wlads power has always been overrated as well as his stamina and ability to pick his heavy shots. Soon as he gets in the ring with a average c rate boxer who is taller than him, he struggled to point him away and at one put he himself wobbles
He threw 90% jabs and Wach wasnt going to get knocked out by them
The guy was there for the taking, Wlad simply cudnt throw a clean combo, by round 8 he had thrown so many jabs he was knackered
Thats complete BS. Wlad was detonating clean right straights off his chin the whole fight. He has a certified iron chin imo
I think he actually could have stopped him if he followed up the straight with a left hook or went downstairs.
Very good chin, taking punches like that at HW is quite something.
However, there were a number of times late on that I thought he was there to be stopped and Wlad didn't go for it.
Haters always gonna hate. If Wlad knocked him out in 1 then the haters would say that Wach sucked and didnt beat anyone good ect and that this win is not a good one. If Wlad goes the distance they will say his power is overrated.
Wlad has certified power in both hands, he has demolished many of fighters with solid chins, but Wach was something else. Wladimir landed some of his most cleanest shots in combination, but Wach took it like the warrior that he is. All props to him, he very well might have the best chin in the business, even better than Vitali's and I do not make those kind of statements casually.
George foreman would have backed wach to the ropes and stopped him. He'd go to the body and eventually wach would go down.
Wach does have a monster chin
He would, in fact thats exactly how the Chuvalo fight when, chuvalo was curled up in the corner taking nasty hooks to the body without throwing back so the ref stopped it. Never went down though but he would have eventually.
I dont think it was anywhere near as bad as what Vitali did to poor briggs.
Credit to wach though.
Yeah it didnt look as bad. Wlad got him with some big shots but a lot of jabs in there as well and a lot of holding. Wlad was breathing hard and would slow down because he was hitting him hard without much effect and didnt want to gas out and get countered when hes tired.
I think vitali's stamina was much better. Remember vitali would fight entire fights without hardly holding at all. The beatdown he gave poor briggs and arreola were worse, vitali throws hard consistently the entire fight without holding. He threw like 800 punches or something crazy against arreola.
Wlad may hit harder with single shots when he wants to, but vitali dont paw with the jab or right like wlad does and hold half the fight.
Wach's chin was something to behold, he was eating huge shots that would have probably downed any fighter from any era. I don't see anybody stopping Wach in a fight, unless his resistance has been degraded by that pummelling.

I don't know if his chin is the best in the sport, but it certainly is one of the biggest. When I saw it, I thought that there is no way that wlad is going to knock him out. :D
