David Haye to be a contestant on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

the simple reason he is doing it is for money, he will make a minimum of a million pound for this which is around 1.6million dollars. when you consider thats more than andre wards biggest ever purse its a lot of money. Also the winner of the show gets big money sponsorship deals after and can make a few extra million that way How many contestants are they on the show? 10? If they are paying them each 1.6 million dollars, the producers will be 16 million in the hole. That seems a bit steep for a reality television show that airs in 1 country.

It would be funny if they had Wlad show up in a big foot costume. The Kbros wont go anywhere near Haye after that Chisora fight, but I agree they should get another boxer!

HELL YEA, This show is POPPIN!!! They basially have celebs being recorded 24 hrs a day, in a jungle, and do challenges. Its similar to survivor only with celebs, I used to be addicted to this show. I watched the reruns religiously, now Haye, a big name boxer is on it, HELL YEA, I cant wait for this!! It would be funny if they had Wlad show up in a big foot costume.

This is pretty embarrassing I think Uri Gellar was the most high profile guy on this show I guess it makes sense (repair and expand his fan base), but, still, WHY?! Any respect I had for the guy (almost none) has gone. That seems like a decent explanation, I guess he also wants to get some TV time because without a fight lined up no one will listen to him

You get to see their REAL personalities, in stressful situations, and they all fight and argue, its a VERY captivating show!

If he wants money, why doesn't he just fight? This is embarrassing. He doesn't need to, he's already loaded thanks to british fans who bought fights like Haye/Harrison or Haye/Ruiz on ppv.

Haye has stated that he wants to be an actor. Maybe he thinks appearing on this show is a segue into the entertainment business. Apart from playing boxers in movies, boxers haven't had much success transitioning into acting. Ray Mancini and Vinny Pazienza tried but failed. Haye's face isn't as busted up as those 2, but acting is harder than it looks. Anyway, you shelf life as a boxer is much shorter than your shelf life as an actor. He can act when he's finished boxing. Even if Haye doesn't get a Klitschko fight, he could make more money fighting the likes of Perez, Fury, Wilders, Povetkin, Price, Mitchell, Arreola, and Adamek than fumbling around in the outback eating witchetty grubs.
