Canelo alvarez vs Chavez jr who wins ?

I remember you saying chavez was way too strong and young for martinez what happened there? well, almost knocked him the **** out , did'nt he? had chavez let go of his hands from the opening bell , sergio would've been in trouble hell of a lot more.

You've taken the words right out of my mouth. Chavez is way too big. I've seen Canelo get rocked. I've never seen JR show an ounce of weakness when his chin is tapped. Chavez Jr. by late stoppage or close decision. Exactly.....Canelo would just tire himself out and wear down under the weight.

Chavez wins......he wears Canelo down weighing 187 on fight night while Canelo is 172. Ginger looks good for 5 rounds then slows down and Chavez gets him out of there in round 10.

That's exactly how I see it happening. Canelo does seem to improve with every fight so it could be a different story in a couple of years. I agree mate

Chavez Jr beats him via KO. Chavez Jr is not a good boxer, but he's huge, with a good chin and good punching power. Just look at what happened to all the boxers who faced Jr and didn't have the mobility of Martínez, they all got caught. Canelo hasn't proved anything yet, his best opponent so far is Rhodes, while Jr has a defeat against Martínez and fights against Lee, Rubio and Zbik (for me they are better fights than extremely shot mosley, extremely shot Cintron and awful Gomez)

Chavez Jr. knocks him out. Too big, too strong, too much chin. I don't think Alvarez has proven himself. At least we know Chavez can put the p4p#1 Middleweight on his ass. Doing the same to Canelo whose defense and movement pale in comparison to Maravilla. Canelo gets stopped within 7. He'll put up a few good early rounds, but he'll leave himself wide open for big cruiserweight type shots.

It would be a tough fight for Canelo, because Chavez Jr. is so much bigger than him. Canelo would have to move up in weight. Chavez Jr. has a good chin, so it would be tough. I don't know who wins, but I think Canelo is a much better fighter.

At 160 I think Alvarez would beat him in spite of giving up about 13 pounds when they get in the ring.I think Alvarez is a better fighter in most ways and would win on points. He might win by KO but Chavez takes punches very well so Canelo would probably win on points. Alvarez won't take the fight. He said he would fight the best at 154 but he won't move up to 160 unless he outgrows 154. Chavez has so much trouble making 160 that he might move up to 168. I like Chavez because he is a brave, exciting fighter. I am disappointed in him for not training his hardest for his last fight. Canelo always gives his training a 100% effort. Chavez should do likewise.

canelo wins. he's an overall better fighter. ya, and i was saying that long before JR fought Martinez. when i was saying that right before JR fought Martinez so many people were like, "no way man, JR is facing elite competition and actually has wins against top 10 fighters in his weight class" and i would just say "Canelo is by far the better and more complete fighter and would win it doesn't matter who he has faced".... now i think more people will agree.

My money is on Canelo. Chavez is a lot bigger than Canelo and Canelo doesn't move a lot but he's actually a better inside fighter and a better body puncher. It would be tough but I see Canelo pulling it off.

So far Canelo *looks* like a better overall fighter. If they were the same size, I'd favor Canelo, but at 160, I think Chavez would beat him. Canelo has been fighting smaller guys and he'll be in for a huge shock when he faces someone bigger than him.
