Best fighters who never won
Oba Carr
The kid was rushed to stardom to quick and he really had the potential to become a very very good elite boxer. Losses to Oscar De La Hoya, Ike Quartey and Felix Trinidad to name a few just destroyed his promising career.

Rocky Juarez, in his prime he looked damn good. He almost beat Crhis John for the championship in their first fight.
juarez looked very good when he was coming up. he was a guy that i wanted to see do well and i was totally shocked when humberto soto decisioned him. i was also surprised about how tough of a time he gave barerra. i thought he edged that first fight. tough break for him with that one and the draw with chris john. he has a great chin too, i think the only time i seen him floored was against linares. him and and emanuel augustus are probably the best journeymen of the modern era
Charley Burley is the greatest fighter in the HISTORY of boxing to never win a title. he was a consumate ring technichian and the likes of sugar ray robinson was "said" to have ducked burley. I don't believe he ducked him because he's the greatest of all time but he never fought burley even though he was in sugar ray's division.
Fighters like Charley and many others of His boxing era paved the way for fighters today and its without question, or debate that he is the greatest to not win a belt in boxing. PERIOD. Look him up and youll see
Robinson priced himself out of a Burley fight.
Burley didn't blame him and said it was a business thing and also said that if the tables were reversed, that he would've avoided Robinson.

mickey ward was a good fighter
He was an exciting gate-keeper/fringe contender.
Far from the one of the best guys to never win a title. You've got ATGs like Langford and Burley (who beat the hell out of Archie Moore) and the black murderers row, or even more recent solid contenders like Tua or Ibeabuchi who were better fighters.
Michael Watson was an excellent fighter. Made Nigel Benn his *****, should have gotten the decision against Chris Eubank, and then boxed masterfully in the rematch before the tragedy.
IBA doesnt count, otherwise Ward would be a World Champ by winning the WBU belt
Sorry he is a 2 division champ, a mediocre one too
Yeah, you'd have to be very liberal with calling them "world titles"....those are fringe belts.
For sure not the best, but no one has mentioned Freddie Pendleton. He was a very good fighter, was matched incredibly tough and mis-managed.
Could have been a star if managed correctly, and definitely deserved AT LEAST one world title.
He won a world title at 135.
He went from a sandwich maker to world champ. Pretty impressive.
Surprised only one mention for golota.
Its hard to find guys who never won a single belt as theres so many belts. Though golota got robbed against both byrd and ruiz in title fights. I mean hell he dropped ruiz twice? thats two 10-8 rounds plus beat him most of the other rounds, disgusting fight.
Not an ATG or anything but he was really good for a guy to never hold one of the 4 main belts.
i said tua but golota is another good choice
