I am going to do my good deed of the week and explain the new fans about the unrivaled might of Joe Calzhage
Joe was kind of like Andre Ward but very entertaining and he fought 10 more years and retired undefeated
He was 4# p4p at one point and will always be in our hearts

aint no body thought slappy slap won that fight in the end
Just like nobody thought Bradley beat pacquiao except for the three most important people in the building. Take your pick. Either way, you're tucked.
To clarify, Calzaghe's career lasted nearly 16 years, he was undefeated during his whole career (thing he lost only a single amateur fight early on) and was undefeated champion for about 11 years. He was nearly 37 when he had his last fight. I think he's be recognised as a Great Boxer and will be a shoo-in for the Hall of Fame.
People underrate Joe,he was awkward, fast and came at weird angles in an off rhythm, had great stamina and threw punches in bunches,on top of all that the son of a b1tch was tough as nails, hate him or love him,he came to fight and you gone have to try to kill him to stop him.He had his flaws but he was one hell of a fighter.
I was embarrassed for BHOP that he had to resort to the tactics that he resorted to just to catch a breather; Joe was making him look like an old fighter. I had Joe winning by a few rounds. The fight was fairly close but Joe controlled the fight and not Hopkins and he set a pace that Hopkins couldn't handle and it showed dramatically.
yea horrible tactics from Hopkins, Cortez was also complicit

You spelled his name wrong but I support this thread.
The man is the greatest super middleweight of all time.
Legend.
Well....I can definitely say that he was the best I have ever seen. I don't think anyone at 168 or 175 could beat him, he was just too versatile, too many weapons, too unorthodox, too hard to figure out.
When you think of Calzaghe being the greatest a few words come to mind. Fraud, Bum, Cherry picker, coward, slapper, Over rated, and Padded record just to name a few.
