I do see what you're saying tho....I think Zab has some footspeed left and once again be a live dog early on - Garcia hands are very fast, but his feet aren't...he gives away being light on his feet for always being on balance, he is always ready to throw with full power so once he readjusts to Zab's early speed I think he will end up outboxing Zab for the middle rounds and going hard to his body. Danny has been in there with some fast guys before
I really do feel Judah has a great chance. He is patient and limits counters, but he is fast enough to tag Danny and win a 12 UD.
Judah at this point is being used by the promoter as he still has "creed" (not sure why) in some circle. He will give you some flash the first 3-4 rds. A tough fighter like Danny will fock him up. GBP knows this too well. Judah is a punk. He is used b/c he is from Brooklyn and can be recycled to draw some of those aforementioned crowd....but Zab will punk out as usual in the later rds.
That is the current status of "No Heart" Judah.
There is no blueprint, 25 have tried, 25 have failed. :boxing:
i dont think danny is unbeatable but we dont know what style can beat garcia until it happens. we already know what rios is vulnerable too.
I don't feel that way. In boxing, timing is everything. Speed kills but timing mixed with speed and timing mixed with power and accuracy is deadly. Where Garcia would be at a speed disadvantage, he could still get the job done. One of those big left hooks on Zab's chin and we will be saying good night Irene. Zab can defeat Garcia but it may not happen. Even in the Barclays. He'd be a victim. Danny need not lose focus in that fight because he is in there with a somewhat able bodied veteran with experience. I can't really call it because anything can happen in the theatre of the unexpected. Alls I know is on that night, I'll be in the Barclays thirsty for blood.
Judah's chin can't take the hooks that Garcia landed on Khan and Morales. I personally don't see Judah outspeeding Garcia for a full 12 rounds.
Matthysse isn't a big puncher?
Khan is faster than Zab and he got KTFO.
Granted he has a glass chin but Khan's speed was troubling Garcia.
Oh and yes I am looking at Danny's flaws more than Zab's which is wrong, but it is what it is.
Morales showed that some technical ability in the first fight, Danny can be apprehensive to engage and looked wide as hell quite often.
Khan also won the rounds by connecting first. His chin let him down big time but also the fact that he kept attacking when the round was in the bag.
You don't think Garcia has improved since the first fight? I honestly give Judah no shot at all. You must of forgot how he just up and quit against Glass Joe I meant Khan. Once Garcia lands his left hook Judah will be looking for the exit signs.

Okay let me post a more detailed reason.
Yes Judah can fold, but he can also bring it on his day too.
Now he has been rocked and down and gotten up. He has been stopped and folded, and it could happen, but this is the story about how I got this thought.
Danny is pretty telegraphable, but he always tries for the counters when you throw. He will be right there, take those shots and try to get you back. His feet are fairly planted, which in Morales 1, it showed both.
Judah has a fairly decent defence now, but his speed, timing and power will land on Garcia. What his new style has adapted to is an even less of a work rate, which is great to limit how many counters Danny will throw.
Danny has improved, but in the past has had his fair slow starts too. If Judah can take the shot, and make that left hook miss with his defence and south paw stance, then I can see Danny having a tough night.
