Floyd Mayweather changed the game and raised the bar

i think its even funnier that they're clinging onto the 1st negotiations and disregarding what's happened afterwards blame PAC the first time? they're all over it blame Floyd about the failed attempts afterwards? nope, return to the originally failed attempt Floyd made it a one shot deal, his illegitimate online children are just following suit I don't think he made it a one shot deal. He made the first attempt fairly easy, because he wasn't in a position to negotiate. After he started making a ton of money, and having big ppvs, while pac looked less impressive, and hasn't released ppv numbers, Floyd upped his demands. I think Floyd feels he deserves more of the purse and so on and so forth, and he dictates the fight. I tend to agree he does have the upper hand in negotations if they ever happen again. The biggest issue is Pac and Floyd can claim they'll accept this, or do this, or concede splits. The problem is they never say this at the table, when it comes time to sign contracts. On that day everything said is out the window... that's the biggest hangup. You think Arum will let Floyd take a bigger split? I know it's the easy way out of this, but think about it honestly, if he will. Pac doesn't make shots, arum does... if Arum wants 50-50 it won't matter unless, pac somehow leaves TR. I don't think Floyd cares about this fight anymore, or really any fight as a matter of fact. He no longer needs big pay days like before. I think if he wants to go out and make some extra cash he might take it, but Canelo is a lot more likely.

Reading these posts on all these boards, watching and reading the news, seeing interviews; as a Floyd fan, I have learned to accept defeat. Face it arguing just makes me as a boxing fan look desperate and reading these posts objectively it is really overwhelming to try and defend Floyd. Like other Floyd fans who have seen the truth, I have resigned to the fact Floyd is and has been avoiding a fight with Pacquiao. Until the fight happens I will feel that Floyd's one negative in the history of his career is that he avoided Manny Pacquiao. all *****s should just admit this! Then maybe after that Floyd will find courage to face Pac!

Are you stupid? Floyd asked for the extra testing. Pac didnt. That's a concession floyd wanted. Pac asked for 10 mill per lb. penalty. Floyd didnt. That's a concession Pac wanted. It doesnt matter that both fighters go through with said concessions (duh :dunce:) the point is both fighters asked for different concessions that the other didnt want to go through. You said that Floyd's OSDT request was more of a concession than Pac's penalty which is BS. One request applied to one fighter, the other applied to both fighters. Which one is more fair? yea that's because floyd wanted all the concessions. He's the one with the my way or the highway attitude.
