I hope it doesn't happen to me.... If it did I would definitely continue. At some point things have to start clicking if you take the game seriously. If you're doing everything you can, sometimes it takes a few fights to put it all together on fight night. I've known guys who looked like **** in amateurs, but once they went pro everything slowly went together for them and because they now had a monetary incentive to produce they just sat and thought about their game that much more.
IIRC once you turn pro isn't that it right? Like I know you may be able to fight in international competitions like the olympics(Even though still most countries pick ams to fight in these), but you just can't go back to the AMs once you turn pro right?
If I was 0-1, with a 100% KO loss ratio, I would flood youtube with videos of me talking **** about beating wladimir klitschko. I would also talk **** to zab judah on the phone. Anyone that disagreed with my view that I am the greatest of all time, I would make a youtube dis video just for you.
You can't go back to amateurs after turning pro.
Also for exaple Kirino Garcia started 0-18 and then turned things back and became a decent contender/fringe contender.
This..amateurs is no longer an option..
but 0-5..If I or anyone I was coaching started 0-5 I'd tell them to hang them up, and just continue training...
starting out with a loss is bad enough, and usually enough fuel to get you to work harder, and take it that much more serious..but if it happens again, and again, and again...and so on..then I believe it's a sign that it wasn't meant to be...
I'd consider training, coaching, refereeing, etc.

depends who you're fighting imo. if you're getting stopped by undefeated fighters, maybe try fighting a bum or two to rack up some wins. but if you're getting stopped by guys that got more losses than wins, idk what to tell you, haha. if you need the money, keep at it i guess, just really train hard and try improving at the gym. take it seriously. some fighters probably don't, and just show up to pick up the paycheck at times.
Have there ever been any top fighters that started out like that? I mean maybe a few started out with one or two but five? Or maybe had a few losses here or there starting out real young but 5 straight? No, depending on my age I would call it a day. If I was real young let's say in my teens like some Mexican fighters often start out I'd probably go back to the ams and come back later.
