I did not know the BS P4P rankings had been updated. It was a surprise to see Cotto there because I had seen him on the "honorable mention" category for months. I had Cotto lower tier top 10 myself, not based on his 154 pound resume alone, but taking other factors in consideration (skills).
Anyway, if there was a thread regarding this updated list I must have missed it. What are your thoughts on this new list?
I gave him three I think. No hate for Cotto, he tried hard and stuck to his task but was it a performance to lift him up the rankings? not for me.
I got you man, and respect your opinion. i agree that wasn't enough to catapult him in the ranks, however, i'm glad he's getting his due. The man has fought the best names out there and is always willing to take on a challenge.
I think in this case he goes up by default, not because he had a big win this year. Cotto was borderline on several lists so if other fighters lose or don't look too good a borderline fighter could go up. That's his case, it seems.
I thought Cotto was competitive the whole fight. winning at least 4/5 rounds outta the 12. Also, when was the last time you saw any fighter give Floyd that much comp? Lastly, Mayweather was the one that stated he would fight Cotto at 154 lbs.

Did he though? he won about 2/3 rounds and almost got stopped in the 12th plus FMJ had to step up to 154lbs.

Because he gave one of the best fighters of our era, a serious run for his money. :boxing:

How do you lose then move up??
I guess bloodying mayweathers nose makes you p4p one of the best...lol. It was a close fight I think I gave him ... 3 rounds or so. >_>
You do know BS is for Bullsh-t right?
It's Bullsh-t's Top 10 P4P rankings.
Manny Pacquiao #1 for a long time, even after controversially winning against Marquez, and controversially losing against Bradley, the guy stays untouched. Ward had to stop Dawson to finally get Pacquiao out of there.
Kessler, Bika, Abraham, Froch > Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, De La Hoya. Ward should have been above Pacquiao since one year ago.
Abner Mares should be in the top 20 P4P before Moreno.
Well, it's Boxingscene but you can think whatever you want to think.
The ESPN a joke too they have Cotto over Froch
Carl Froch 6-2
Jean Pascal
Jermain Taylor
Andre Dirrell
Mikkel Kessler
Arthur Abraham
Glen Johnson
Andre Ward
Lucian Bute
but he not in the top 10?
