Either past it or never good.
It is much easier to name the good quality opponents as they are littered with bums. Yes Joe Louis dominated a weaker era, in a similar way. Wlad and Vitali will go down as great heavyweights, but that does not mean there competition has been par, because it hasn't. In comparison to Louis that TS keeps trying to manipulate, at least you can say that Louis lost to great fighters, Wlad has lost to decent to extremely average fighters.
Vitali proved himself in his loss to Lewis, Wlad has not fought a great contemporary, maybe to his benefit in all honesty because I feel in a really tough fight his chin and stamina would not hold up.
David Haye is Wlad's best win, who was a top cruiserweight, but limited by his size and style at heavyweight. It is a very good win nonetheless, because it was pretty one sided on the cards.
Lennox isn't. Byrd is so-so. The rest of the list is garbage. Mercer was a corpse by the time he fought a Klit. Sorry Son, you can't make sh1t that floats to the top of the cesspool smell like potpourri.

Says the little chubby loser who writes poems in his mums basement :lol1:
I knew guys like you would make this thread funny. I will repeat it: if you go through Joe Louis' or Larry Holmes' resume, and you will judge their opponents just like you judge the Klitschko opponents, you would have to say that ALL OF THEM are complete utter TRASH.
but the truth is if a fighter is so dominant over so many years (like Klitschkos, Louis and Holmes), then the reason for the dominance is that they are so good, and not that the opponents are all trash.
all the guys on my list which you called bums had excellent pro careers and most of them excellent amateur careers as well. Joe Louis and Larry Holmes fought guys who would get annihilated by most of the Klitschko opponents.
I was trolling. It's difficult, of course, to compare their resumes.
I have respect for both fighters; they can't be blamed for the decline in HW boxing. They deserve some credit (Wlad, in particular) for dominating the division.
How the public sees it:
Monte Barrett - Bum
Chris Byrd - Middleweight
Frans Botha - Cab Driver
Ray Mercer - Bus Driver
Corrie Sanders - Golf Player
Lamon Brewster - Former Boxer
Sam Peter - Unemployment Beneficiary
DaVarryl Williamson - Journeyman
Sultan Ibragimov - A Jouurneyman's Journeyman
Ruslan Chagaev - Taxi Bum
David Haye - Paper Title Holder
Tony Thompson - Future ATG
Eddie Chambers - Unemployed Bum
Dereck Chisora - Ex Glass Worker
Tomasz Adamek - Polish Factory Worker
Herbie Hyde - Leftovers
Larry Donald - Continental Contender
Chris Arreola - Unknown Mandatory
Juan Carlos Gomez - Another Person
Kirk Johnson - UppercutMyselfInTheFace
Vaughn Bean - Man
Timo Hoffmann - He
Shannon Briggs - I
Axel Schulz - Person
Paea Wolfgramm - Unknown Entity
there you go...
Can't really criticise Wlad's resume - he's fought most top 10 ranked fighters. Vitali's, however, is questionable.
Unfortunately they'll never be ranked higher than Lennox, who is a top 10 ATG fighter

Samuel Peter would destroy Earnie Shavers.
Right after his fight with Wlad he got absolutely schooled by Toney in their first fight, one of the worst robberies I've ever seen, I think Atlas was at that fight going ape shyt lol.

ur known to be the biggest clown here.
if all those fighters on the list are garbage, then Joe louis and Larry Holmes didnt fight anybody with a pulse in their whole career.
They're two people you silly bastard...you can't count both sets of opponents and then apply it to both. Vitali has a weak resume and lacks heart. Wlad can't make up for all his older brothers shortcomings.
I love how he did that..
Which Klitschko opponent...
Let me put it to you this way......in any other era would Samuel Peter be a Top Heavyweight????? No.
The best fighters either have fought were Lennox (way past his best though), Byrd, and Haye.

Ehhh Sam Peter wouldn't have lasted in the division if there was any talent. Peter was a product of the times and I hate to discredit him so much as to call him a "bum" but I will say he's a "POTT" Product of the Times.
Juan Carlos Gomez would have been stopped by any top ten heavyweight, he got a shot by beating 40 yr old McCall? Who he beat while high on coke the first time? He's definitely a POTT.
Chisora is a POTT for sure, I think Haye's dismantling of him in that fashion compared to Vitali's performance warrants Haye a title shot.
Oh god the Shannon Briggs fight says it all about the Klitschkos. How did he get a title shot? KO'd 4 bums in a row and tested for roids on one of em? Briggs shouldn't have been anywhere close to a title shot...POTT
Kirk Johnson was ehhhh weak opponent but that wasn't a title shot and Klitschkos have been known for fighting weak opponents in the last five years. Before 2007 there was good talent in the division and good fights but 2007-2012 some of the worst heavyweight boxing ever.....
But it isn't the Klitschkos fault there hasn't been talent in the division, but in my opinion now there is. Price, Haye, Pulev is alright, but some decent fights can be made.
