The pac that fought cotto, de la hoya or hatton the one that was still very hungry would have beat matthyse up. This pac I'm not as confident. Matthyse is one if not the hardest puncher P4P in boxing right now. We really don't know how will pac react when he gets hit flush especially against a montrous puncher like matthyse.

Pac beats him... Lucas was overly cautious when he fought Judah and Devon. Pac's combo and speed is on a different level and Lucas will have trouble dealing with his foot work and speed. Pac stands toe to toe but also with a lot of in and out movement. Now I don't know how Pac is now, but I think he still has something left in him.

Pacquiao would beat Lucas if he were in his prime (possibly stop him), but not now. Lucas is entering his prime and is extremely dangerous. Luckily for Manny, it'll never happen.

i think Pacquiao knocks lucas out, i still feel that any fighter that walks towards pacman he will get knocked out, the angles n speed pacman punches from will ko anybody that walks towards him And anybody elite and healthy and prime that boxes beats him , welcome to the sweet science of boxing .

Pac by decision or late stoppage. Matthysse does have a hard right hand which is something Pac hasn't seen too often but he's way too slow and flat footed, Pac would beat him to the punch and turn him all night long.

really? why? Im not sayin lucas would beat pac, but what is it that makes you believe that pac would OBLITERATE lucas. lucas is strong, young, and hungry, and looks to be able to take a punch. so I ask, what is it about pac that makes you think he will OBLITERATE lucas? The same thing that has allowed Pac to obliterate most fighters he fights, his speed, power, and awkwardness. I like Matthysse, but his style plays into Pac's strengths and he's not good enough to avoid getting too much punishment put on him early, which would lead to a total ass kicking for as long as it lasted into the second half of the fight. Maybe he lasts the distance and takes an extreme beating.
