Pacquiao/Marquez 4 sell over a million buys?

I know it's going to be a great fight but I know a lot of people who have lost interest in Pacquiao fights

Arum came out this week and said that Chavez-martinez was "already over 600K". Then HBO releases 475K. Ignore Arum numbers. Always. They didn't say it did 475k. They said early trends indicated 475k but they're still counting and would likely rise. **** boxing fans hear what they want. HBO never released a final number.

The report I saw for the Bradley fight was 750K...about the same as Clottey it sold 950k according to Dan Rafael.

I don't think it does, I think too many things are against it. A PPV during the shopping season, bad idea. Recycled fight, regardless of how good the previous fights were. Cusual fans are starting to stream more than hardcore fans, I don't see it doing a million.

I think this outperforms the last one easily. Remember no one gave Marquez a real shot going into the last fight. Everyone thought this would be easy work for Pac and the only reason they chose Marquez was so that Pac could Ricky Hatton his ass and look great after two lackluster wins against Mosley and Margacheato. Going into this one people will want to see if Marquez can close the deal and do what he did last time so I think this one will have a lot more hype than the last one.

why are we as boxing fans so obsesed with PPV numbers?? who cares man we r boxing fans not accountants! What do you think drives the sport? Money. So, if you are a fan, you want the sport to make money so that you can see good fights. Big money = healthy sport.

they should push santacruz to stardom jus like canelo I find Santa Cruz to be more entertaining, looking forward to seeing his next fight. He might not have a lot of power, but his punch output and body-punching ability totally makes up for it. As for the topic, they will do at least a million.
