I've never seen such a talented prospect get sh1t on quite like Rigondeaux. I guess its true that the better you become the more haters you'll have.
I honestly sit almost hypnotized by how amazingly gifted he is, his footwork is a thing of a beauty.
How can you deny such a talent?
His speed, combinations, precision bodypunching, his power & accuracy. Foowork, defense. That is not a good prospect, that is a once in a lifetime OUTSTANDING brilliant, close to perfect technician.
He fights a guy with over 300 amateur wins, 21-1 with a 70 odd % K.O ratio and wins just about every round, even scores a knockdown or was it two? Gets hit with one maybe two decent shots yet stays composed and pays back with interest and apparently this is him getting 'exposed' even his own damn fellow countryman are turning on him, like wow, what loyal fans you are.
This is like when Mosley landed two bombs on Floyd ''OMFG Floyd nearly lost lollll, hes got a glass jaw''
Now Leo Santa Cruz apparently whoops him lmfao! Leon Santa Cruz whoops Guillermo Rigondeaux? Are you absolutely insane?
Hes not even the best prospect from Mexico in his damn weightclass for Christ sake.
I wonder if when he spanks these guys if you'll jump on the bandwagon, d1ckriding whose hot at the time or if it'll be a case of ''Lmao hes a bum, hes shot'' etc
Bookmark this thread because I am telling you right now there is not a fighter, not a single fighter south of 126 alive today that can beat Guillermo Rigondeaux!
That includes Donaire, that wreckless Margarito wannabe who throws a million lovetaps per round and it also includes Nishioka & Mares.
1 trillion points to whoever wants it, even odds that if Donaire ever tries his luck with Rigondeaux he gets savaged.
He sure did, that's what happens when someone exploits your irresponsible/leaky defense by jabbing behind a high guard. I'm a firm believer that if you have a good defense, use it, regardless of the quality of your opposition. Irresponsible defense is a flaw that any level of opponent can take advantage of.
oh i agree, but you made it sound like you should'nt get marked up if your p4p material in your previous post which is pure BS to me...
He's got some of the best footwork I have ever ever seen. Like he makes you want to get up and practice your footwork immediately. With success comes hatred though. Let them speak...he will prove them wrong himself.
sergio had a busted nose againsts "darren f0cking barker" man and was rated # 3

In all fariness to Donaire, he supposedly injured his hand in the Vasquez fight. However, the fact that he's coming out of his fights marked up is not a good sign. I know, this is boxing, but a guy rated so highly should have better/more responsible defense.

The X-Rays have come back from the lab and the test results confirmed Rigondeaux has a glass-plated jaw
There are fighters that CAN beat him but that doesn't mean they necessarily will.
But he's the only person to knock down Mathebula AND Vazquez. Both guys were stopped before, but were out on their feet. Donaire floored them. He wasn't able to stop them, but I thought he dominated them fairly easily and the knock downs proved he still has one punch power at 122.

Rigondeaux makes every fighter look garbage. Its why people obsess over any grain of success anybody has against him.
Ramos also just bounced back with a win over a highly regarded, undefeated American prospect.
Ramos was a good amateur, an undefeated 20-0, top 10 ranked world champion by the time he was 24 that held some solid wins going into that fight.
Did you catch this highly regarded prospect get shut out by another prospect on Shobox last night? In contrast to Ramos, who barely made it the 8 round distance.
it is possible for nonito to ko rigo, but he has not ko any 122 yet. that's an interesting fight that nonito refuses to take.

Yeah but Rigo was rocked by a contender, and has gone down before that. you guys might not like it, but i think Donaire KO's Rigo, he's just as fast and can hit a few division above, might take him a while but Donaire will get to him.

Vazquez and Mathebula = former and current titlist, both top 10 ranked. Donaire moving up to his 4th weightclass. I'd say beating Vazquez in your first fight at 122 >> Mares winning his 2nd title at 120 catchweight against old bantam Morel. Probably better than most guys' first fight in their 4th weightclass, for example Floyd Sharmba
You really rate Vasquez that high? The same Vasquez that couldn't get past poor little Arce? The same Arce that if he fights Donaire is gonna get eating alive? And why are they even mentioning Arce as and opponent seriously? Common dude Vasquez is good but nothing Donaire couldn't handle. Now tell me when both where going up to 122 who fought the tougher opposition Donaire or Mares. Mares fought Vic, Agbeko, Perez back to back. Donaire's toughest opponent was Montiel.
And for the record I don't even know why where talking about Mares here
But at the same time like you said Donaire is P4P material so why is he fighting the Vasquez and Mathebula's? Both are fighting opponents that shouldn't give them much problems and both are looking more and more ordinary.

It's not really the same level of comp. Donaire hasn't fought decent prospects/fringe guys like Casey, Kennedy, Marroquin forever, probably since before Vic. Rigo's most legit opponent was Cordoba almost 2 years ago, coming off a KO loss to Euro level Dunne. And Rigo looked bad in that one.
Don't get me wrong, Rigo's comp is fantastic for a guy with 11 fights, not so good for a guy challenging p4pers

who cares ...
mathebula - ibf world champion, top ten best sbw
vazquez jr - former wbo champion, top ten best sbw
omar narvaez - two weight world champion, current super flyweight world champion and the #1 guy in that division
fernando montiel - wbo and wbc bantamweight world champion, top ten p4p
sydorenko -former wba world bantamweight world champion
etc...
donaire has been fighting world champions and former world champions...
It was said as an interesting observation, nothing more.
Off-topic: You couldn't find a better image of Bradley getting hit and being pushed back? Seems like he's somewhat squared up in that moment, so of course being hit would lead to him being off-balanced, right?
Two reasons: Rigo's small amount of pro experience (his first 11 opponents have a better win-loss record than Donaire's), and the fact that Donaire has said that Rigo (and Mares) still have to prove themselves.
Doesn't mean anything, Rigo has yet to fight someone in Montiel or even Vic/Dar's level, and we'll have to wait for Noshioka who's also a very good test.
Lol, you want Donaire to start fighting undefeated prospects now? what a joke.

Why would you try to down play Donaires opponents when Rigo himself has been fighting the same level opposition. Yeah Rigo is the better boxer but physically Donaire has the advantage and that's what makes this fight great. Personally I doubt Rigo could outbox Donaire for the entire twelve rounds. He might have to trade more than he would like specially when Donaire lands a good punch. I just hope that they do fight and that butth0le Donaire doesn't go up to 126 without fighting Rigo.

Yes I know that, but that still doesn't neglect the fact that they both are fighting just about the same level fighters. To be honest both have looked just about the same with common opponents. And Donaire is a butth0le for saying that, no one better than Rigo, Mares, Moreno and a few others at that weight.

Well you see Nonito has the all the Pinoy fans from Manny backing him up. Rigo has a very very small fanbase. There is powers in numbers and the stupid always have the numbers.
