Hatton's lifestyle has been pure garbage since he retired, even worse that between fights. The guy's done. The fight would be huge and it will probably be made. But it won't be competitive.

ummm, years off or not, hatton is waaay better than khan. hatton was better when he was active, and he is still better now. if they fought, i would have no issues betting the house on hatton. what will it take for people to understand that if khan is fighting anyone that is above B- / C+ level, he is NOT going to win?

If Danny Garcia can take Khan out then Ricky would too. Hello, brutal KO Garcia is a deceptively hard puncher and he countered Khan on the way in. Hatton is a pressure fighter. I think a prime Hatton would give Khan hell in the same way Maidana and Peterson did but might still lose to Khan on points. It would've been close.

Do not understand the hate on this fight at all. It makes sense and cents. Both these guys are household names in the UK. Both have been in great fights in the past, and both guys have had consecutive losses when they've last been in the ring. I am not just a casual fan, and I think it is a good fight for where they both are. I would definitely watch it.

I suggested this match up a few days! I think it would be a "safe" match for both. If anyone gets stopped by KO they need to retire. It should be at 140 but would be safer at 147 because they would be able to concentrate on boxing skills not making a weight limit. I don't like seeing the Hattons & Cottos of the world continue in boxing when they both have been overwhelmed and hurt badly in the sport. They both have fought at a high level and not done well, why go on? I care for these young warriors the casual fan doesn't give a damn! Better safe then destroyed! Ray.
