floyd will take another come back tune up fight no doubt.
meanwhile pac is fighting someone he hasnt clinically beaten or come close to dominating.
But the thing is neither can go in wanting to box thier way to victory,it will just end up a close split decision, draw like fight each time.
They both need to know that their better off just going to effing WAR!!!! :boxing:
Who ever wins will be due to greater fighting spirit, not skill, and who ever loses knows they gave thier all and entertained the fans at least.
because he keeps recycling opponents instead of taking on other opposition.. it would be great if Marquez wins but we all know that wont happen... why couldnt he just wait to fight Floyd? get it over with already.. .
Cause Pac knows that Floyd wont fight him, why wait, Pac doesn't wait for nobody.

LAS VEGAS -- A deal has been struck for Manny Pacquiao to take a fourth bout with Juan Manuel Marquez at the MGM Grand on Dec. 8, Pacquiao's advisor, Michael Koncz, informed ******.com on Wednesday night.
Koncz finalized the matchup with Top Rank CEO Bob Arum earlier on Wednesday in Las Vegas, where Arum is promoting Saturday night's HBO Pay Per View-televised card headlined by WBC middleweight titleholder Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. defending against RING champion Sergio Martinez at the Thomas and Mack Center.
"A lot of things had to be discussed, so we took our time with Marquez," said Koncz. "There's more issues than money."
Pacquiao (54-4-2, 38 knockouts) chose Marquez (54-6-1, 39 KOs) over a rematch with Tim Bradley (29-0, 12 KOs), who defeated Pacquiao by controversial split-decision in June for the WBO's 147-pound belt, ending Pacquiao's 15-bout winning streak that included eight stoppages.
Marquez lost in November to Pacquiao, who was the official winner by majority decision, with ringside judges Glenn Trowbridge and Dave Moretti turning in scores of 116-112 and 115-113, respectively, while Robert Hoyle called it even at 114-114. Public opinion, however, was largely in Marquez's favor.
In a comprehensive poll of 20 boxing media members present at ringside, only one saw Pacquiao as the victor against Marquez. The breakdown among writers was 12 for Marquez, seven in favor of a draw and one for Pacquiao.
"Manny loves all of his fans all over the world, especially his Filipino fans. But we know that we have a lot of Mexican fans also," said Koncz.
"Manny also knows that we may have lost some Mexican fans as a result of the last fight because we were getting booed during the decision of the fight."
Marquez bounced back with April's unanimous decision over Sergei Fedchenko for the WBO's interim junior welterweight belt, which has since been "upgraded" by the organization to full title status.
The duo's previous two fights ended in a draw and another split-decision loss for Marquez.
"Manny is an entertainer, and he always wants to give the best that he can to his fans," said Koncz. "Manny's not making any excuses for his last performance, but right now, the most interesting fight that's available for Manny is Marquez," said Koncz.
"This one is for the fans. So we decided to take that fight, and, hopefully, come Dec. 8, we will have a performance that will warrant us winning back some of the Mexican fans that we love so dearly and who we lost the last fight."
another boring fight...
I'm bored with this and they should be too! Its a "safe" bout for both guys and a swan song for Marquez and Manny thinks its a solid prep for a Floyd fight to follow. That senerio might be close but the bottom line is that once again Manny & Floyd would rather have "fore play" then "Real Sex"!!
Sick of both of them, promotion has nothing to do with this fight! If these two wanted to fight they would and could!!
It would be great if they both lost their next bout then they could fight each other in a "rebound" bout! Tired of ALL these multi-millionaires, weres the real fighters! Ray
We have to Close this Series with a KO! Three very close fights, There's nothing wrong with 4rt one!
Besides Pac has nothing to prove against anybody but JMM and maybe Floyd! But Floyd still scared!! JMM's a Warrior and will take Pac the 4rt time!! Cmon Floyd speak up and say YOu want Pac!!!
Pusssy Floyd!!!!
so if they have another close fight should they fight again and again and agian tell they dont
Boring fight. It will go 12 again and we'll get another didgy decision then talk will be of a 5th fight. Not interested.
Their last fight inparticular was a poor spectacle. Two guys past their best unwilling to takre chances because they cant pull the trigger anymore. Who wants to see that again? The fights between them are getting worse and worse and I expect this to be another step down in enetertainment form their last encounter.
It would mean more for Pacs legacy if he avenged his loss to Bradley instead of fighting an old man he already has two wins over. He avenged a loss to Morales but 3 other men have beat him and he hasnt chased rematches.
What lost to Bradley?? Cmon ??? Even a Blindman knows Pac already whooped that feather fisted asszz! Bradley's a more boring fight than a JMM fight! If no JMM, then give me Floyd!! But everybody knows Floyds scared!!! So back to JMM!!
same thing over and over again marred in controversy. Once is bad enough.... But three times?

BS. but props to manny for continuing to fight his Kryptonite, JMM has pac's number and knows almost everything on how to fight pac, but pac has the heart to get whoop again like that because it is really a posibility always against JMM.
People don't see it that way, SAD.
Blah. I didn't really want either Marquez or Bradley again but at least with Bradley he could avenge his "loss."
Beat Bradley, gain some rep back with casual fans, sign Mayweather fight. BOOM. It seems like a no-brainer, too bad Arum/Pac are only thinking money money money, now now now.
Agreed.
A 4th Marquez fight is a farce. This will be the first Pac fight I havent bought in years. There is no "story line" here. Pitiful.

why would a fight between two current first ballot hall of famers fellow top 10 p4p fighters who have given us 3 exciting close controversial fights be considered ruining your legacy?
Students of the game know that fighting a fellow ATG and your biggest rival 4 times is a disgrace to boxing.
The old timers are rolling in their graves. SMH.
The only way Pac can regain his legacy is if he fights once every 15 months.
Manny's got to know he'll need a KO to win...a lose make a Mayweather Jr fight even less likely to happen. Wonder if he will retire after this.Naw if JMM wins then they will have one more in Mexico for money after Arum has claimed his soul
surprised that marquez would accept to fight again at las vegas. I thought for sure he would only accept a 4th fight in mexico.
Guess we'll wait to see their purse
Manny probably has a rematch clause
