^^^^^^^^ yup .... Barerra-Naz ??? anyone ?
No Hamed was finished when he fought Barrera. He hadn't been taking it seriously for 2-3 years, his hands were splintering on him and he'd talked about HAVING to quit because of his hands for a few years already. That Barrera fight showed a completely different Hamed, only goingnthrough the motions. he trained for 3 weeks.
A couple that stand out in my mind are:
Taylor vs Chavez and Vargas vs Trinidad
Trinidad versus Reid, Jones versus Tarver, Tyson versus Douglas, Tyson versus Spinks, Foreman versus Frazier 1. Both Klitschko's versus any unbeaten fighter you can name.
Hector macho versus Edwin Rosario. and many many more.
You mean Shane vs Marg. career ending right there.
Cotto vs Marg 1
Zab vs Kostya
Froch vs Bute looks like it could be a future one. That was a brutal beating.
Ward vs Dawson. Dont know how you come back from that...
Hamed vs Barrera
Vargas vs Trinidad of course
Roy Jones vs Ruiz. Was never the same after that fight imo.
I feel you have to differentiate between a fighter who was mentally ruined, or just never had it in the first place and was exposed, from a fighter who physically had the prime beaten out of them like Meldrick Taylor and Juanma.
Salido-Juanma I... Altho he had it coming. :lol1:
Pacquiao-Margarito
Martinez-Chavez in a few days. Altering for Chavez that is, he's time is up.
The career ending fight for Lopez was Mtagwa. He has never been the same since that beating he took.
Also, either Cotto or Mosely finished Margarito as a competitive fighter.
I have a feeling Cotto softened him up, and Mosley finished it.
