Lopez was losing the fight though. Yes but he was still in it and the fight was shifting his way. Ortiz was already folding mentally, Lopez had successfully convinced him that he had the size and physicality to compete with him.

I was very impressed with Lopez vs Ortiz. He didnt look like the same Lopez that fought against Jessie Vargas. His punches were crisp and he was getting clean work in against Ortiz. Landing flush and crisp punches right on the chin. You can tell he has been working on his power in the gym. Not the same slappy punches I saw in the Vargas fight. I would hate that fight, but no way could I complain. Those are two huge upsets and Lopez would deserve it.
