Do you think I'm crazy for thinking Dawson Ward will be a great fight??

It's going to be a super high speed chess match. It might not be many's cup of tea but I think it won't be labeled "dull" as many might think.

During or after? I have the fight here in my computer and watch it from time to time and Dawson didn't get boo'ed during the fight. You must be talking about the decision, which is irrelevant to the fight being exciting. that's right it was after the fight, didn't see most of the fight just remember Dawson getting boo'd and not really giving a ****.

Why do some fans equate being good at all facets of boxing with being boring? I just don't get that. Then blame the boxer for being boring but never blame the other fighter for not being good enough to get the boxer to fight a different fight. For me, the only great thing about this fight is that you have 2 elite fighters facing each other while they are still in their prime. Stylistically though, I fail to see how this can be a great fight. I envisage plenty of clinches, a few butts and a wide but boring UD win for Ward. I'll still be staying up till 4am to watch it live though.

Lack of action, lack of competitiveness, lack of clean punches, etc. Ward dominated the fight but he barely landed any real damaging punches he just stayed on the inside just tapping him most of the time. I just found it really boring against a completely over-matched opponent. To each their own, I watched it with some casuals and they were excited to see a guy impose his strength and his will on his opponent.

You found Ward-Green exciting? I'm a fan of Ward but that was really an incredibly boring fight, IMO. What's boring about a guy pinning his opponent against the ropes and punishing him round after round?

I don't think it'll be fight of the year type but it may just be more entertaining then most people expect it to be.

I'm expecting a tense, low volume punching affair tbh. Honestly, I think it's gonna be quite boring. even if it's an average (in terms of action) boxing match, i'll be pleasantly surprised.

I think Ward will try to push the fight, with Dawson being his usual, safety first type of fighter. Ward will clinch, get in the inside, use leverage and score points and grind out a painful 8-4 fight. Its the spiritual sequel to Bradley/Alexander But I hope I"m wrong
