Max was pulling stuff out his ass with that one lol, tried a little too hard to hype Golovkin, but it's forgivable after his exciting performance. I just hope that HBO brings both of them back. agreed and golovkin seems determined to do it but how come that same rule never applies to martinez or floyd? Martinez' resume sh*ts all over Golovkin's, that's why. Beating Proksa is a step in the right direction but Kerry Hope also managed to do that so it's not enough to crown him as the #1 middleweight. Sorry.

Severely underestimated Golvokin, wouldn't like his chances at SMW but definitely looks like he could do some damage at MW and LMW. Would love to see him fight some bigger names. Solid performance. How about a big name then a Martinez fight(not saying Martinez is a huge name but ya)? Geale/Golovkin is already on the cards. After that, he'll have 2 belts and he should fight the winner of Qullin/N'Jikam. Martinez, the lineal champ, should be left for last.

agreed and golovkin seems determined to do it but how come that same rule never applies to martinez or floyd? were you not around when martinez announced his fights with dzinziruk and barker? i as a fan wish he would have faced someone like sturm, pirog, or geale, actual MW titleholders. for quite a while people were claiming martinez was "ducking" pirog. that rules applies to every fighter, all you got to do is look around a bit more and you'll find people not kissing fighter's asses or giving some passes.

Heck no, I think Proksa has enough haters around here as it is for whatever reason. If you put him in there vs Taylor and you won't hear the end of it. LOL. He would become public enemy #1 if he leaves Taylor broken on the canvas.

He should stay away from the 168 lbers, could get himself into trouble there. I think I need to save my judgement until I see him again. Proksa was tough, but just not very good with his goofy ass telegraphed shots. Lol he looked silly throwing those lefts. Those golovkin body shots are mean as f*ck... I think he can handle the super-middleweights just fine. In the amateurs he already knocked out Lucian Bute with one punch and outboxed Andre Dirrell.

Actually, Proksa had more responsible defense than I've seen in some of his other fights. But, he got caught leaping in, got caught on the ropes, and it only took a handful of body shots before he knew that it was a wrap. He went down fighting, and that's what I expected from him. I just hope that he doesn't now fade into obscurity. Put him in there with Guerrero/Andrade/Barker. Yea man. I don't think Proksa's problem is his hands down but how he gets lazy sometimes in there and a little sloppy.
