I've seen many a post on this forum calling both Brothers boring. I disagree. Wlad and Vitali have totally different styles and I feel people find it too easy to group them together and call them boring, based on Wlad.
I find Wlad very boring to watch. I wouldn't call Vitali exciting, but not boring. His variety of punches are great to watch.
Am I the only one with this opinion? A Haye-Vitali fight would be a pretty exciting fight, Vitali doesn't run and would chase Haye, unlike Wlad who fought extremely defensively.
Vitali is not boring at all. His fights have always been quite pleasant to watch. A few less exciting fights are more due to poor oposition rather than vitali's performance.
I find him much more exciting than wlad, but wlad is not neceserlly boring. I dare anyone to count the number of times when haye dropped himself to the canves to avoid wlad's attacks.
I don't find either boring tbh
Wladimir was extremely defensive against Haye? He was the one pressing the action! Hard to be exciting against a guy on his bicycle not willing to engage and falling to canvas every 2 seconds.
David Haye - ''I promise Wladimir will be in an exciting fight for once''
''This will be explosive''
etc etc
That is certainly part of the story, but there were numerous times in the fight when Haye was stood right in front of Wlad with his hands down, daring Wlad to throw something big. Wlad seemed very reluctant to do so. I think rightly a wrongly a lot of fans would expect a man with such a height, reach and weight advantage to club the sh*t out of someone who is doing that, and Wlad's unwillingness to engage on the occasions where Haye was in front of him like that kind of sums up why many fans find him boring. I don't necessarily agree with this view, but I can see where people are coming from.
In answer to the OP, I don't find anything boring about Vitali, he has been a tremendous fan-friendly heavyweight over the years.
I wouldn't call Vitali boring at all, unlike Wladimir, Vitali rarely holds and his style of holding his hands low and evading punches with his upper body is great to watch. Also he mixes his punches well unlike Wlad with his jab, straight right, and the occasional left hook.
Wlad used to be one of my favorite fighters pre Sanders loss and pre Steward. I still like him sort of as a sports figure or whatever but hes boring as **** and I dont bother watching the fights anymore. Vitali has been a lot more exciting and is a 2 handed fighter instead of just jab jab jab. Admittedly I skip a lot of his fights these days too not because he isnt good but because the competition available isnt what it was even back pre lay off.

Yeah Haye completely ruined that fight with his running. He wasn't slick at all.
