Did any1 become a bigger fan of both Ward & Dawson after HBO's 24/7 special?

Felt sorry for Dawson's kids, those names...

Both of these guys a laid back and devoted fathers, good to see new faces on 24/7. Does anyone else find Ward's religous talk and nickname annoying, i doubt God cares about your upcoming fight.

I loved the training footage, didn't really care for the kids/family segments. I also really like both trainers, those dudes know their stuff and really know their fighters.

Thoroughly enjoyed the first episode. I thought Chad's segments were better and more entertaining, Ward is a bit boring. Still, it's refreshing to see new faces and a good look into what they do. Chad picked some unfortunate names for his kids though.

great show, wish there were more episodes coming. refreshing just to see some new faces on 24/7, the diffrence in attitude was great too. both are just real on camera, talk about their training, family and other thoughts and are honest about it. not trying to play a character or talking a bunch of nonsense just to sell the fight. ofcourse seeing how they train is the main part of 24/7 for any real fan and both guys did some things you dont always see, wish there was more of that in the show.

Excited for the fight. Dont really care who winss, but this episode made me like them both more as good men.

This 24/7 made me like Dawson more and like ward less

Pac is just down right boring, the only 24/7 possibility for him the next year or so that could be good is Floyd and maybe a Brandon Rios (because Rios will carry it). Pac-Bradley was not THAT bad. Bradley carried most of it, and his dad was entertaining I thought. Floyd-Cotto sucked because Cotto is boring too and doesn't do anything at all, and we'd seen both several times. Floyd-Ortiz wasn't bad, because Ortiz was new and Floyd had some good trash talking for that fight I though. I think potential 24/7's for Floyd with Pacquiao (for obvious reasons), Alvarez, or Martinez could be good. But I agree with other younger fighters possibly carrying on 24/7 after Floyd is done. Danny Garcia and his father would be a crazy 24/7, as would Broner. I can potentially envision, as long as Garcia keeps winning, a Mayweather-Garcia fight maybe in 2014, if Floyd fights that long. That'd be an epic 24/7 I think. Or a Broner-Garcia fight in 2014-2015, if both keep gaining popularity. Mayweather is every bit as boring as PAC and cotto! Dude needs to quit acting like a little kid

LOL at Chad Dawson Kids Names...He watches too much movies, both guys are very classy family men though, was great to see different fighters on HBO 24/7, Chavez Jr vs Martinez should be very good also! Tired of Pacquiao and Mayweather, time for some new Faces on HBO 24/7 and in the sport of boxing PERIOD! I got him at number three p4p. I suspect he and Yuri Gamboa are going to be the two competing for the top spot over the next decade or so.

In terms of how good he is and popularity, Ward is going to be this era's Roy Jones. An ATG, a dominant fighter in his era, but his popularity will never be big time, ever. But he'll be one of the best, if not the best, fighter of his era.

Virgil Hunter was going in with those gun references, man. lol But yeah both fighters are laid back family men. The first episode made it hard to pull against either one.

yea it was bad ass, im getting more scared of dawson dude looks really confident n excited, u can tell this is exactly what he wanted everything seems perfect to him, the b-hop nightmares are behind him
