Battle of the fabulous fours old/new!!!

I was thinking about this last night after watching some highlights… Which of the two teams of fabulous fours were better? Morales, Barrera, Pacquiao, Marquez Hearns, Duran, Hagler, Leonard. I obviously know that Pacquiao, Marquez and Morales are still active. But as far as boxing history will go, of those “teams” who will go down as the better. Better boxing skill, accomplishments etc…. Discuss..... :boxing:

along with hagler, leonard, hearns, and duran, you should include benitez. and even without, the big four of duran, leonard, hearns, and hagler are far superior roberto duran is widely regarded as a top 10 ATG, leonard a top 25, and hearns and hagler often crack the top 50. true.... benitez cracks the top 50 u think? not doubting just asking.

I like both groups. SRL vs haggler & SRL vs Duran are my favorite fights out those fAV4 Morales vs pacquiao 1, morales va barrera 1 & JMM VS PAC 3 from the other FAV4 I also think Mosley,ODH, Trinidad & Vargas could be an honorable mention the only one missing was Tito vs Mosley. Would've been a great fight.

It is in my point of view, it is my opinion. You dont have to agree with me. You should be aware that plenty of trolls and fans like to do that. I'm not saying that TS is looking to do that, but you seen the tape around here plenty of times. good point. makes sense

Well considering Morales, Barrera, Marquez and Pacquio haven't all fought each other thus aren't a Fabulous Four I'm going to go with the actual Fabulous Four. this is true..morales and marquez have yet to fight each other..and even if they were to fight now it would be too late.

I think Morales vs Marquez didn't happen , did it ?! so it isn't fabulous four ! Moreover , Marquez is the weak point , he can't be compared to the real fabulous four greatness , and his greatest achievement is roberry win against barrera , win over diaz , 2 losses and draw against Pacquiao ! I go with the 80s fabulous four must spread reputation etc

There were underwhelming ones like Duran-Hagler and a lot of the rematchs but there was also Duran-Leonard 1 and Hagler-Hearns which were obviously great fights. Leonard-Hearns 1 wasn't too bad either and neither was Duran-Hearns while it lasted. The best of the bunch was definitely Marquez-Morales 1 though. lol. i see what u did there...

Where's the option for Liston, Ali, Foreman and Frazier? 3 of them were active at the same time and Foreman sparred Liston so surely that's enough to be a Fab Four right? I vote for that Fab Four.

I'm very serious.And why wouldn't I be? There were very few great fights with the great quartet of the 80's.Pacquiao,Barrera,Morales and Marquez produced several. very few great fights? man i dont know wat to say to this
