Clearly Margarito's career had been officially over when Pac accepted to fight him. Mosley ended his career as not only did Mosley expose Margarito's tactics but he also destroyed him and turned him into a disgraced coward. So much so that pac didn't even want anything to do with Mosley until of course Mosley's career was over.. See the pattern here? Exactly!!!!!!! Shane offered Manny 60/40 @ 140 they still flat out refused. No one wanted to fight Shane after that fight, he had to sit cause no one would even consider fighting him. is the bscene going loading slowly for anybody else right now? mine is anyway.. so much factored into margarito's career ending so shortly. the punches he took were the main culprit. the injury to his eye all but sealed the deal, but a career based on taking that kind of punishment was never going to last long. on the one hand he was a brave fighter who offered a lot of himself to boxing. he'll never regain his normal eyesight, and the punches he took will stay with him. on the other hand he was almost certainly a regular cheater, who ended miguel cotto's prime with loaded gloves. personally i have no doubt that he cheated in the first cotto fight.

I would have to say manny did. After the PAC fight, Marg was damage good. U can put him in with a bum and all that bum needs to do is touch that eye and the fight will be stopped.

Marg was never the same after Cotto 1 that fight took something out of both guys. this isn't something that many talk about now, but then, some shared this same sentiment. yeah he beat cotto, but he went through hell to beat him. quite frankly, it was kinda weird how easy it was for mosley.

i agree Marg took somthing from Pac. Didnt they say Margs was the figther that landed the most on Pac of all the figthers he had fougth i wouldn't doubt it..pac looked like hell in the post fight conference...

The permanent damage Pacquiao did to his eye ended his career and helped Cotto beat him. His courage and willingness to train hard and fight hard never left him. Without the eye injury he would still be fighting today.
