Do you guys even know what rolling with the punches is? For the entire first clip he rolled and deflected those punches right up till the big shot at the end. After that a few punches that landed were picked out from the rest. There's probably not even ten solid punches landing in that entire video.
This is what I hate about watching boxing with some people. They can never tell when a punch lands or is deflected. 9/10 no head snapping back = no punch landed.
Moderators need to start doing their damn job.
They ban me for having a sexy ass picture of Stacey Dash, yet allow troll threads to flourish and don't ban the originators of them.
well yea he is 35 going on 36..but you gotta give credit to Cotto he fought a damn good fight
Definitively props to Cotto for a damn good fight, I was impressed when i saw this video. D@mn Cotto can sure box with the best.
he just felt sorry for him, remember how he abused cotto then chilled man.. pacs a straight killer, could have gone toe to toe with hagler

Just like how he knocked out Bradley? :boxing:

I literally didn't read another word...no no no......another LETTER after you said the word "bloated". Floyd fought Cotto AT HIS WEIGHT where Cotto is a REIGNING CHAMPION. What a **** **** **** thread.
pacquiao probably knocks both floyd n cotto out on the same night. period
I'd pay to see that! 12 rounds vs Cotto then then 12 rounds vs FLoyd!!! OOOhh snap! That would be amazing!
Getting hit by jabs is a small consolation when the other guy is still for the most part hitting you less, but more importantly you are landing more power shots.

lmao, i just watched the video. smh. has to be the worst highlight video ive ever seen. i mean ****, it didnt even make the case that cotto won the fight, in fact it did the opposite.
Floyd gave cotto all the advantages going into the fight, the weight, the gloves and he fought cottos fight standing his ground rather than moving a lot. He didnt have to give those up but he did for the fans. There will always be those that still hate him but thats what makes him money and why he sells more than anyone else today, because the people that like him AND hate him are both buying the PPV.
Floyd took the first 5 rounds. Rounds 1-4 were clear Floyd rounds, while the 5th was close with Cotto being more effective by trapping Floyd on the ropes, Floyd still out fought Cotto and landed by far the more significant punches.
Cotto took round 6, clearly. Round 7, Cotto seemed like he took this round off, and Floyd clearly won this round. Cotto than took round 8, clearly.
The 9th round was the closest round of the fight, could have gone either way. Cotto had his moments, Floyd had his. It depends on what you personally favor.
Floyd than took the last 3 rounds, the 12th being a huge Floyd round where he had Cotto badly hurt.
Initally I scored it 118-110 Floyd, giving Cotto rounds 6 and 8. Rewatching it, I had 117-111 Floyd, giving Cotto rounds 6-8-9.
The only thing I had beef with Floyd about in the Cotto fight was when he had Cotto hurt bad in the 12th, but he opted to not finish him. Had he stepped on the gas and just threw combination after combination when Cotto was hurt, he probably could have forced a ref stoppage.
It was the same in the Mosley fight, had Floyd pressed the issue a bit more the last couple rounds, he probably could have forced a ref or corner stoppage.
Just aint his style man
