First off I'm not a doctor so im not going to comment on whether he was cheating or not.
What i cant understand is how a professional fighter and former amateur star in Peterson (and team) didnt think to declare that he was going to be receiving testosterone boosters? I can kind of understand when you accidently take some random banned substance from the bottom of the banned substance list that no one has ever heard of, but this is TESTOSTERONE! I mean how dumb do you have to be to not think that you should maybe let someone know?
bringing your test levels up to normal gives NO ADVANTAGE. maybe you guys don't know about steroids. most use something. it is about not getting caught. the athletes who use MASSIVE amounts of drugs still can't cut it at the elite level. how about the distance runners from africa who dominate long distance running ? their red cells are way over the average runner from around the world. so if joe whoever takes a synthetic drug to match the same level. he is considered a cheat. is it wrong for us to take test to boost our test level or viagra, levitra, cialis etc and be a beast in the beadroom ? is that cheating to make it look like we are at the elite level in the sack ? not the same i know but i do know a lot about drugs. it is time we know that beating khan is not that hard to do. athletes take what the doctor gives them without knowing just like we do in everyday life going to the doctor. he is just an ok fighter and beating khan. he beat just an OK fighter.
Normally yes that's true. But when you are a pro boxer and you are competing you are suppose to tell the proper authorities about any use of illegal substance, medical included. That's the rules and not telling them is what got him in to trouble and cost him one of his world tittles. I like him and wish him well but he screwed up.
yeah this......
I am not a mind reader. Maybe he knew it was illegal. I said it was a stupid thing to do. We are not debating whether what he did was stupid. We agree on that. I just don't think doing a stupid thing makes a person an idiot. Have you lived your whole life without doing one stupid thing? I have heard the man speak many times and I don't think he is an idiot. If you want to think he is an idiot then that's your opinion.
to be fair i meant an idiot in this instance... he seems of normal intelligence most of the time...

He did a stupid thing not telling everyone invoved about the medical condition. I don't think that makes him an idiot. Almost everyone does something stupid now and then. His medical problem is not unusual and has to be treated. I am sure he wishes his body produced the normal amount of testosterone. He is not a cheat and has no unfair advantage.

He is a dirty ****ing drugs cheat
They dropped the case because they concluded it wasn't 'performance enhancing'
Having them pellets and having a level raised up to 4:1
Keep in mind this level was discovered months after the pellets had been injected into his armpit
It could have got as high as 6:1 for all we know
THE REAL QUESTION IS: Are boxers now allowed to use Testosterone pills keeping their test level below 4:1????
****ing stupid.
This conclusion of this case surely show they can go to a dodgy vegas doctor with their normal Testosterone level and have him diagnose it as low (when it isn't) then get it raised to 3-4 times it's level without consequences?
how can this happen? Mayweather is right fckin corrupt sport.
There is no way that hairy tall son of a ***** had a low testosterone level. The results even show that is was perfectly normal.
How can you not realise that putting testosterone into your system might be something that the drugs testers might want to know about?
Im reserving judgement on whether he intentionally cheated or not because like i said im not a doctor. However i knew people from school who played football (soccer) at acadamy level who checked everything they took for banned substances, and so cant understand this happening to a world champion boxer. Hence, hes an idiot.
every one said that he was feather fisted so its obvious where the power came from...4-1 ratio maybe 3x higher that every1 else he fought and even if he was two naturally it is still doubling his active test levels which mean strength and power gains and more stamina...it is cheating..I don't understand why his level has to be so high. If the 4-1 ratio gives him an advantage in the ring I think they should order him to get it down to about a 1-1 ratio. I don't have any knowledge of testosterone helping or not helping punching power. He looked like the same guy I saw fight before. As for his great power, he did not knock Khan on his ass. Something that is not hard to do.

He should have been open about it. I am still unclear about how much an advantage if any Peterson got from the synthetic testosterone.
Even if he got no advantage though, how do you not declare something like that? especially as it was in the lead up to a fight as his team said...
I feel like they have made themselves look way more suspicious than they should have.
