LOL @ people saying no one cares about this fight anymore.
Sure, most of US are tired of hearing about it, but you can bet your ass if this thing gets signed, it's going to curb stomp every possible record (ppv, revenue, etc.).
exactly........
Okay 50, it's cool you're getting into boxing and everything, but let's see how well you can promote your first club show before you look to make the biggest fight in Boxing, man.
Pacquiao:
Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, JMM3, Bradley
Mayweather:
Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto
With the difference of wear and tear, you think this is fair matchup?
And the motherf***** demands more money?
If i were Arum I'd give this guy hell on the negotiating table. He's got nowhere else to go. If he fvcks up this time, he'll be doomed to a legacy of avoidance and self-preservation. He'd be ridiculed for the rest of his life for ducking the fight the world world wants to see. The US media will have a field day ridiculing him.
you're too mad bro....take a breather....go give ya girl a massage or something...dam!!

Nobody cares about this fight, it has lost it's buzz.
*Master thread has 500 pages of posts*
I feel you....but on the real, the same dudes be posting in that thread....the master thread was made so the kids can have their own playground...seperate away from us adults who really can't stomach the negoiation table bs....or the schoolyard gang name calling....most of the dudes who post in the master thread think Pac and Floyd are top 10 ATG's :lol1:
as for me...like I said, if they fight I won't miss it..if not, oh well...didn't care for the winner anyway
:D Dont be ****ing stupid.
Enough already with the little girl act. ''oh i dont care anymore''. Yes the fight is happening about 3 years after it should have but hey, if the fight happens even now you can guarentee people like you who claim you dont care anymore would pay for the PPV and watch it.
It's not a little girl act it's the right reaction to have when the fight doesn't mean much anymore. Would I still watch it? Yes, because I'm a fan of both fighters, I like to watch them fight even if the fight itself is pointless. If I watched Pac vs Mosley of course I'm gonna watch Pac vs Floyd.
The real question is : If I was running boxing for a day and I could make one fight happen, would it be this fight? Hell no. Even if I could make 5 fights happen it wouldn't be among my choices.
Matter of fact I'm gonna start a thread like this and y'all see how many times Pac vs Floyd comes up.
It's still a huge fight. Pac is coming off what should have been a win over a Top 10 P4P unbeaten fighter. Floyd is coming off a solid wide decision win over Cotto at 154 lbs. Both are still two of the top fighters in the sport. Leonard and Hagler weren't in their absolute prime either. It's still as big as that fight, it's just not like "Fight of the Century" level that it was in 2010.
The winner would still be cemented as the best of their era.
I'd like to see Floyd take a Bradley fight in November/December, Pacquiao in April/May, Martinez in November/December, Alvarez in May 2014.
The odds that happens though, are remote.
In this weak era of boxing when the joke JCC jr. is a champion , and 40-year-old Mayweather /50-year-old Klitschko are the superstars > this fight sadly stays meaningful , even in 2015
Each superstar has trilogy with fighters who don't have chance , keep defeating them and people keep paying money
people are hungry to real boxing and real champions
pac fans aren't even confident in there boy anymore all they do is attack floyd every floyd fan believes floyd will win lol.
pac fans are preying to a poster of pac in his superman costume that he doesn't take this fight.
"nobody cares about mayweather-pacquiao anymore, man."
*the match-up has it's own thread with daily posts from september 2011-present*.
*site enforced a rule about no more mayweather-pacquiao threads*
"nobody cares, b. Only casual fans"
*in reality, casual fans don't post in boxing forums*
:lol1:

Hardcore boxing fans might have lost alot of interest in the fight, but this fight will still sell and that is what it's all about. Competitive matchups? Please, this is a business first, sport as an afterthought. Casual fans will eat this up like it's Ali-Frazier 2.0.
It is still an interesting matchup, I will still watch it, and all of you saying you lost interest will still watch it as well.
that's because most people are suckers.
mayweather vs cotto for example, most people(outside of die hard cotto and floyd fans)didn't care for that fight because it should have happened 4-5 years ago and cotto was beaten up bad by pacquiao. but when the fight finally happened, 1.5 million people still bought it.
based off of pacquiaos last 2 fights(IMO he lost a close fight to jmm and beat Bradley but not by as much as a lot of people thought) most people outside of pac fans feel Floyd wins by unanimous decision.
you have to face the facts, Floyd vs Pac has lost its buzz, alot of people aren't as interested as they were. but if this fight is made a lot of people will end up buying it anyway because its easy to sell things to the millions of suckers that watch the idiot box(TV) on a daily basis.

it has lost it buzz but he said no one cares anymore.
i just said people still care.
you still got people posting in mayweather/pacquiao threads
Fight has lost it's steam. I still want to see it though, it'd be the same result regardless of the timeline. Manny maybe slowing down a bit but he still the same lame fighter, with the same ring IQ. Mayweather ends the pacland fantasy and send right into fulltime politics.
