Why does Pacquaio keep wanting to fight Cotto at catch weight?

I agree, Cotto tried to force Tony to fight at 150, Tony refused.. If Cotto can make 150 for Tony, why not Pac? Its all about advantages.. I wouldnt be mad if Cotto said no.. Cotto should ask for 152lbs.. The real question is, why would people want to see Pac slaughter Cotto again? Its a horrible style match up for Cotto.. Pac is too fast and has too many angles, Cotto is slow as sh1t.. Pac fights at a fast past unlike Floyd, who takes his time.. Freddy knows that weight makes a whole lota difference in boxing so he advises manny to request these catchweights. Lets see manny fight JMM at 140 pounds. Then he should stay at WW. Catchweights should never be allowed in any Championship fight. If Pacquiao and Cotto fight it is not a championship fight. They are not champions at this time.

I'm going to be real here Manny just don't like to take risk anymore because he made it. People talk about Floyd fighting all these big guys martinez etc etc but the fact is floyd and manny are the same size weight wise, Floyd has never came in the ring on fight night over 151 and manny comes in around the same weight so all this manny to small crap is bs. Styles mean everything, Floyd doesn't get hit alot so he can fight at higher weights, manny does so that's why he doesn't want to fight him above 150, remember he did get his eardrum busted in the first fight

IMO the CW clause Manny was using to even suggest it was lame. But if a guy 100% agrees to it then its all fair game. But if the opponent has issues with the CW and is forced to fight under contract from their promoter or belt commissions then that is different. From what I can remember so far. The people Floyd has fought at CW is either him going up to fight them or a challenger going wanting to fight him at a certain weight. I think Floyd just wouldn't force someone at a weight they know they will be drained at.
