Who do you wanna see Cotto fight next?
Molina is MY pick...the PR-Mex rivalry is the BEST in sports....no matter who is repping the countries, against each oher they bring more than usual....Canelo should fight Lara to get Cotto....Molina been paying his dues and desreves a 7 figure night at the office imo....plus he'll give Cotto a tough fight...thats what Molina does....Cinnamon can fight Lara....Cotto can fight Molina or Kirkland in MSG and put Canelo vs Lara on the same night in LA...call it Coast II Coast....that PPV would go hard!!
Pacman is no longer in the position to call shots for Cotto. Cotto is no longer under the top rank banner & Pacman has been involved in 2 consecutive controversial fights. If the so called greatest fighter can't man up, then he should stop calling on Miguel & find another cherrypick at 147.
I don't approve of him asking to fight Cotto at 150, I'm just explaining why Bradley can't do it but probably would if he could.
Lara.
Everyone is saying Canelo is ducking this dude. Really? Cotto won't even mention this guy. Do I think Cotto is ducking? No. But I do think Lara is his LAST choice. Lara is for real man.
Pac is in the position to call the shots and fight where he's comfortable because he's the bigger star, Bradley is not.

I get it. But I imagine somewhere down the line someone will realize that for such a great fighter Pacman sure does need plenty of advantages to fight. So Bradley will thread where Pacman fears to go?? lol!!

I want the Cotto/Canelo fight to be competitive, that is my only agenda when I say that Canelo is not ready for that fight...he needs these two upcoming fights in Sept. and Dec. and I think he will finally be able to share the ring with Cotto in the Spring and give us the classic most expect. I'm optimisitic they will put Canelo in with a known contender or champion at 154 in the next fight...I'd be shocked if they put him in with Cotto after what is essentially a replacement fight with Josesito.
I wouldn't be shocked, they're not trying to protect Canelo anymore. Don't forget they originally matched him against Williams, a very high risk-very low reward fight. Stylewise Williams was a more dangerous opponent for Canelo than Cotto IMO. If Canelo loses a competitive fight against Cotto it won't hurt his career unless he gets stopped, if he wins he becomes a legit star. It's a win-win situation for him and GBP knows it.
Cause Bradley said he's willing to move up to 154 while Pac is only willing to go up to 150.
i think u got this wrong, cotto told him he will not fight under 150 and pac wanted him at 147
thats why he said if u fought margarito at 150 y not do it with me. but he didnt want it.
I voted Canelo. If he can beat Canelo or even put up a good fight then he is still very good and should continue fighting if he wants to. If Canelo KOs him like I think he will then he should retire with his health and his wealth. He won't fight N'Jikam unless it's at 157 in my opinion. The Canelo fight would be a big payday for him.
an easy bout first whoever is available at 154, looking foward to two huge match ups in 2013, Mayweather-Canelo, and Cotto vs winner of Martinez-Chavez.
I'm never against seeing accomplished champions going at each other so Cotto/Bradley would be cool, a little random but whatever. Both are ready for that level of competition.

K9 is a pretty good fight to make if they have to wait for Canelo and others. There will be action and I think a TKO for Cotto is likely. Cotto will get most of the pot, K9 will fight at MSG, and won't have any issues with timing/tune-ups like Kirkland might.
Wat has Kirkland done to deserve this kind of fight? I rather see Cotto go after K9 and the IBF belt to set up a unification with either Floyd or Canelo in 2013.
I have zero doubt Cotto spanks K9. I can't see any way he beats Cotto, unless he gets that one punch. Unification would be nice, but in today's age of titles, doesn't mean what it used to. Cotto beats Kirkland, but it's better action, sells better, and I think Cotto will look better against his style.

I'm a Cotto fan but you cannot be serious. Kirkland has beaten better fighters at 154 than Cotto has.
1. Canelo
2. Kirkland
I doubt Kirkland would turn this down if offered to him. I don't think Canelo will fight Cotto in MSG.

Canelo's the obvious answer. A distant second for me would be Timmah. And please no to a Mayweather/Cotto rematch. Same for a Pac rematch. When I hear May/Cotto thrown around, I really don't get why. Miguel represented himself well that night but you could rematch those two 20 more times and the outcome would be the same every time.
Cotto would battle hard and win some rounds, but ultimately would lose clearly every time out.
