Ponce is officially done with 126 then or what?
Nah I forgot he is fighting Jhonny Gonzalez for his 126 belt on the undercard of Alvarez-Lopez. I don't know how I forgot about that fight.
So it will probably be Escobedo-Burgos, with Magdelano ending up the mandatory after he does the fight Arum is talking about.
Diego will probably end up having to fight Burgos for the WBO belt, which is a winnable fight. I still think he should try and take down a couple contenders before he aims for a belt.
I think GBP would want to hook up Ponce who is ahead of Magdelano. Salgado would probably want in on that also.

Then that probably means Escobedo vs Magdaleno. I don't want that fight. I like Escobedo and would hate to see either one lose.

Magdelano's rankings and who holds(held) the belts
2 WBC Aoh
2 WBA Uchiyama
7 IBF Salgado
4 WBO Broner
I think a WBA regular championship is in his near future~ with Uchiyama becoming super champion~ hopefully we get lucky and he can get in on the vacant WBO strap.

Diego should fight the likes of Thompson/Vasquez/Escobedo next. Fight some of those guys, then fight Fortuna/Mendez. By that point, he would definitely be in line for a title. Here's hoping that he tries to clean up the division instead of moving up.
He has always looked like that, some guys just have that look. He might be able to make 126 but he seems comfortable at 130 so no need to mess with it.
Yea, I guess I never really paid attention to it. I wonder what his weight is on fight night.
Not gonna lie, I missed half of that Diego fight including the uppercut. The baby is being fuzzy tonight.
Holy sh1t, that's that dude who looked 13 years old? He sure does lmao. I missed his fight too. :purity:
Oh sh1t, that was at 130, the Diego fight? Fooled me haha. Idk his stomach area looks kinda soft. He should tighten up in that area.

Diego has now been added to the ever-growing list of fighters that I gotta look out for. A patient boxer with respectable power, good punch variety. He also seems to have a killer instinct. 36% KO ratio is very deceptive.
Yea, and at 130 I don't see all that many guys who could really mess with him other than the Japanese dudes but those are fights that would never happen. I think he would kill Fortuna as long as he can avoid getting caught nasty early.
Nah I think 130 is good for him, that is where he fought tonight. He could possibly drop to 126 for a cup of tea if a soft touch for a belt came up but other than that I think 130 suits him just fine.

Haha yea Im telling you. First time I watched him I was like wtf? How he's ratio so damn low.
Mike Lee is a bum btw. Remember that number they did for him on ESPN his last fight?

I jumped out my seat when he landed that uppercut, Davis was playing keep-away and Diego was having none of that.
Usually not to big on the lead uppercut from the outside, but that was pretty slick how he did it, slipped it in there perfectly and that was all she wrote~

That uppercut that started the stoppage was pretty sick~ and he certainly was not content to just exploit his advantage tonight he wanted to close the show.

People tend to like his brother more cause he got the more exciting style. But Diego is the better boxer. Does he seem a little soft to you? I bet you he can make 130.
On another note, Diego keeps his KO streak going. He definitely found the juice. :boxing:
