Chad Dawson says he's already at 178 pounds for Andre Ward fight

Dawson beats him & might even stop him, i don't think the weight will be a problem.

I thought this fight was at 170 or something. Chad should have negotiated that and for Andre's belt still be up for grabs. Given that's happened before and he's going most of the way down. I don't think you can fight for the title above the limit but I wouldn't put it past the crooked ass alphabet orgs.

This fight is gonna be real interesting, especially with this weight issue that Dawson is probably gonna run into. Will not be surprised if he comes in 1lb over-weight.

Does anybody know/guesstimate what Ward weighs come fight time?

Kessler isn't the only fighter at 168. And yes, Dawson has always expressed an interest in moving down. Now he's found an opponent worth it. What do you mean by worth it?

Ward isn't making him do sh*t. Dawson made the challenge and signed the contract....That's exactly right. Dawson asked for 168 all Ward did was say yes to Dawson's challenge.

HOWEVER, when it suits his gameplan he will bulk up a bit, cut weight and come in heavy on fight night. but thats not something he has to do, its something he chooses to do usually when faced with a strong opponent. so his weigh on fight night can be 185, it can be 180 or it can be 176. it varies from fight to fight. Why would he go down to 168 for Mikkel Kessler? Especially at that time? Why? Because Kessler says so? As I recall it, Dawson wanted Kessler at 175 and refused catchweight. He called out the champ at a lower division, but refused to meet in between.
