In b4 Cotto completely tears apart Canelo

Why do people act like Floyd-Cotto was some close fight??? Floyd won 10-2/9-3 and we have people on here saying Floyd went life and death with Cotto, it was a really close fight, Cotto put on a great performance, etc. Yes, Cotto gave 110% and a huge effort, but lost to wide UD. He did prove he can still fight though and is still good. Thank you for acknowledging that MC is still a viable threat. Not gonna argue ur view of that fight. But Cotto eats up cinnamon boy. At least for the forseeable future. On my phone so wont say more as its a big pain in the ass.

He did prove he can still fight though and is still good. Your right Mayweather won most rounds. However IMO those rounds were not one sided they were pretty Close. Thats why I can understand why some people have the fight much closer than the scorecards. As far as Cotto vs Canelo goes. this would be a tough fight but I would have to give it to Cotto by decision or maybe even a TkO. I feel Cotto experience and skill alone would trouble the kid. Cotto is not fast but his timing never fails to amaze me he knows how to pick his shots. Canelo did great with Mosley rocking his head back, But Mosley was done way before he faced Canelo. I wont sleep on Ginger though, He's young, strong, and the bigger guy. But the only kryptonite I seen work on Cotto are Iron chin, High volume, Pressure fighters (Margarito, Pacquiao) and Mayweather is on another level.

Yep,Canelo will the the hardest puncher he has ever faced,a big 154 pounder who throws every shot with bad intention.He will take a beating just like his brother did His brother gave Canelo a decent fight, I can't see how Miguel gets blown out of the water on this one. canelo hits hard and is a little bigger but he fights in spurts and looks to have stamina issues. Cotto would have the edge in speed, skills, defence, experience, stamina, better trainer and combination punching. At this point cotto would be too much too soon. cotto with better stamina???? Hahaha

I have a hard time seeing how you can possibly think it was a give and take when it was tremendously obvious that Mayweather stepped off the gas. I give Cotto credit on his jab though it was really well timed and I don't think Floyd liked it but Cotto couldn't follow it up with anything man. Floyd could have easily outpointed him in a rather boring fight if he felt like it. Jaja I can't take this post seriously.

He basically made it interesting and then stepped on his gas peddal on the 12 a little bit to show that the king was never in any real danger. Cotto had no chance at all. Canelo is too tough for Cotto and if Canelo is aggressive and puts pressure, it's over. Cotto doesn't shine agains sluggers or pressure fighters. Wtf? I cant even take this post seriously.

Scorecards dont tell the whole story. Every round was a close competitive round, even to the point of mayweather himself asking his corner who was winning after the 9th (or 10th) round. If Canelo fights Cotto I might put a bet on Cotto to win. Canelo has not had one performance that leads me to the conclusion that he could be a fighter on Cotto's level. I wouldn't be surprised if it happened but at the same time I don't think it is a given in that he may not be as good as people make him out to be. The guy went the distance with Mathew Hatton and was breathing heavily against Kermit the Frog.

Canelo is not a slow flat footed 1 eyed mummy like Margo He is a rather stationary fighter, especially to sit down on his punches. If cotto took the same approach that he did against margarito, his chances would be greatly increased. Keep moving and pivoting, and tieing up/getting physical when canelo gets too close.

I dont see how people are so sold on Canelo being such a good fighter. His fight history is straight garbage. And fighting Lopez isn't much either.

Canelo beats Cotto's ass just how good do people think Cotto is? and how durable is he period, let alone as a JMW? Cotto has no chin and no defense Alvarez KO's Cotto if they fight And canelo has a chin with great defense? Miguel gives a boxing lesson to canelo if they fight.

I think Cotto outboxes Canelo. I don't think Canelo has faced anyone as skilled as Cotto. I like Saul, but I just don't think he has fought anyone of note yet. Cotto has been looking better than ever lately and I think he wins. Great matchup though and I would notbe shocked if Canelo won. This is a great way to prove himself.
