the guy has been making weight and knocking guys out and moving up in the ranks. someone in the top 10 should fight him i mean cmon for alll of them to avoid him is ridiculous for example guys like alvarado and mathysse.hes ranked #2 by the wba
Acquinity better move him up the sanctioning body organization rankings (preferably the IBF because of their strict imposing of mandatories and eliminators); the #2 spot does put him in line for Maidana's recently vacated "regular" title that'd help him get solid opposition, until then, Joan has little leverage.
He simply won't be given anything and will have to settle for these journeymen until he has a bargaining chip (a mandatory position or a title).
Exactly, great post.
Guzman aint marketable at this point, perhaps Amir Khan may wanna fight him, but the problem isnt on other boxers but Guzman himself.
Guzman has been calling out khan for over a year.Khan doesn't want it.Guzman is being marketed as lil Tyson again and he's on a knockout streak I'm sure khan will stay away from him.if khan does choose to fight him then great for us fans.
Guzman has a lot to gain by beating the top 10 jr. ww fighters. But the top 10 doesn't have anything to gain by beating Joan.
Really so if Alvarado doesn't fight him he can gladly give his rank to Guzmsn.and if matthysse wants to move up he needs to fight Guzman also so who doesn't gain what?

hes ranked 4th by the ibf under mike alvarado so very soon there will be a reason to fight guzman.

Who's gonna step up?? You almost make it sound like Guzman is the man to beat at 140!! Hilarious stuff right there.
never said he was. you seem to be the only one who took it that way. but hes the most avoided fighter there and you can't disagree.
