Its been quite a damn while since a prospect has caught my eye and I've thought damn this kid is destined for bigger things.
Obviously Rakhim but I've known about him years.
I did like that Leo Santa Cruz kid, works the body well, incredible punch output, hes a little pocket rocket he is. Think he could be doing with a bit more pop like but I was quite impressed by him.
Apart from that it really has been some time since I seen a great prospect.
I liked that Omar Henry? He reminded me a lot of Cotto but he was in Floyds camp and walked out and well I think he is like working on a degree & mainly working as a sparring partner. I think hes still pretty young though so should be gaining some great experience. Hope he gets some meaningful fights in the near future, he appears pretty exciting.
Which prospects have you seen lately and thought 'wow you are going places'?
Santana is a beast along with Jack Culcay and Jose Uzcategui are the three im keeping an eye on.
He is fighting this friday in showtime..can't wait to see him..he is 24 cuban amateur champion, hit hard with both hands and have speed and good foodwork..his countrr abilities are out of the chart..I just hope that they find a durable guy to hang with him..
This is my list of prospect that I intend to follow in this 2013
Jesse Magdaleno
Randy Caballero
Julio "Pollito" Ceja
Miguel "Alacran" Berchelt
Per Olivier Cote
Eleider Alvarez

Daniel "Galeno" Sandoval is an interesting prospect and crowd-pleaser from Mexico in Junior Middleweight. He will be up for better competition soon and it will be interesting to follow his progress.
.
dodie boy penalosa jr ..seemed pretty impressive when he fought on the undercard of pac vs marquez 4. he's fighting again this saturday on the shiming undercard..he should win it by KO ..
you are?
i never thought he had much at all.
I don't think he'll ever become more than a B-fighter, he might be lucky to become that lol, but I try to catch any fight he's in cuz he brings it. Sometimes, all I want is to be entertained with a back-and-forth scrap.
Another guy I've just caught on to is Ronny Rios, can't wait to see more of him. Don't know if he'd classify as a prospect since he just had a step-up fight against Rico Ramos.
david lemieux is no longer a prospect, man.... he lost two fights in a row, one via stoppage. he's in a rebuilding process right now. by definition, a fighter who is rebuilding is not a prospect.
What are you talking about? Losing 2 fights means you can''t be a prospect? You are confused. Oh and FYI he's won 3 fights in a row.

The 2 best prospects IMO are MWs Gilberto Ramirez Sanchez and David Lemieux

I didn't see it last night. Which undercard was he on?
He was on the Bellew vs Chilemba undercard against a South African journeyman. Good to see they got him a very durable journeyman to get some rounds with, I'll have a watch later.
He looks very good, he caught my eye a while back too. Did you see him last night? I missed the fight but I'll try catch it later.
Hes back on the Brian Rose undercard, glad hes staying so busy.

Impressed me tonight.
Solid fundementals, good defense, speed, jab, and IQ
Yup. He has good power too. He didn't really get to put it on display because he was fighting a bigger guy. But even then, he was able to keep Prescott honest and hesitant throughout the fight. You will probably see it more when he goes back to 135.
An article mentioned Ray Beltran as a potential next opponent. I like that fight.
Kalid Yafai
